Backpage no longer accepts credit cards. They still accept bitcoins however I have never purchased bitcoins or used them. Does anyone know how to purchase bitcoins and use them?

Being that BP is my go-to site now this sucks! I've never used bitcoin but I'm trying to educate myself on it. It does not give you the same dollar amount as your dollar on your debit card. I keep seeing other women post on BP but I'm not sure how, bitcoin is not a 1-2 step. Hummm I'm beyond lost. Maybe Ill pay an escort to come help me.

I am sorry but I have advertised on backpage for 5 years now. The reason being is that is where I find the majority of the traveling gents find me. Given that you are a gent and you do not market yourself, nor do you advertise or even know the roi on investment one gets from backpage why would you even question a womans choice of where she advertises or how she advertises

I know if I post on BP I WILL make money in the next two hours any day any time. Backpage has the most bullshit but a lot of traffic. They make 22 Million bucks ALONE on lady ads a year, so I think we all know we are getting some good cash! Even so, look at all those fake ads all those girls are posting everyday.... so if they keep doing it you know they are making money off it. So put it like this, if even the fake gals can make a living on BP you know legit ones will rule it! Backpage has diamonds too, just dig thru the dirt to find her.

You have no idea how i market myself. If you use backpage in the right way it has huge return dividends. How do you put yourself at serious risk? I do not put my pics, phone number or location on any of my ads. I do not put any of my personal information in my ads. I have been know to be the one that writes witty ads. I have never put myself at risk. If you think advertising puts you at serious risk that is ludicrous. You and only you are in control of your safety in how you screen. There is no offense at what you posted but those that slam backpage do not use it properly.

I'm surprised people still use it. Before much longer it's going the way of CL adult services. Which just means people will start using their personals board, but I digress...

So you think the gents that are on backpage are not on ter or p411? I use all the tools that you use on p411 and ter, many of the traveling gents are very easily verified by asking for two providers they have seen. Also, there is the tool called google if you know how to use it and dig for information. I have NEVER had a problem with guys from backpage but then again I screen differently then most girls. The guys are not iffy.... the guys I have met are all professional gents. You screen the gents on backpage the same way you would on ter or p411. There is not anything more iffy on backpage then there is on ter and p411. If you think being on ter or p411 takes the risk out think again. I turned down a guy from p411 and I have turned down several from ter.

P411 and TER should not be the way you screen. At best, they are both just a holding area for selected reference information. If the guy is bad, it's guaranteed he's not going to leave evidence of that on his "verification tools". Unless you have real world information, you are meeting an anonymous stranger that you don't know enough about to beg him not to murder you. That sounds harsh, but there is no difference between a backpage and a P411 client. Both are equally anonymous unless YOU insist they not be.  

It's definitely something that has been discussed amongst the ladies before, so if you're familiar, I'm sure we would love to hear.

In many cities back page is all people have. When they travel to the big cities they still only know Backpage. We can help them become more sophisticated hobbyists by telling them about TEr and p411, but those sites are not practical for the guys from small cities.

Totally agree. Everybody here loves to trash BP. But what is interesting is that 85% of reviewers here use BP as a "providers ad site" when they leave their reviews.

It's true that 9/10 people who contact through BP do not ever come see me, usually because they refuse to cooperate with screening in which case I refer them to my website and ask them to read the etiquette and verification pages and learn to use TER for their own good.  Then, hopefully, they will go on to become a good and educated client and maybe they will come back and see me someday when they are ready. We were all new once. A lot of the Backpage guys are new and trying to find their way.
