once I figure out how to use it...LOL When I went to Vegas for the retreat it was brought up as a possible marketing tool. I am pretty tech savvy so I am sure I will have no problems, but that is great for you hun!!
Can't say I've ever gotten any clients directly from there, but it's fun to just banter in 140 characters or less. I recall exchanging quotes from The Big Lebowski (my favorite movie of all time btw. If you haven't seen it, you're doing yourself a great disservice) with one guy. Good times.

What do you ladies think about Twitter and how it fits into your business?
I have a twitter handle that I use specifically for hobby related activity. Today I was commenting with favor on one feed. A lady who I had noticed in the past but not gotten around to visiting jumped into the conversation. Her remarks were witty and really resonated with me. After a few playful public comments we started communicating privately and I really liked how she expressed herself. After reviewing her website and TER reviews I asked her if she was ever in Chicago. As it turns out she will be here in a few weeks and our schedules line up. I'm now booking a visit. Without our interaction on twitter this wouldn't have happened.
As someone who has spent the vast majority of her providing almost completely UTR, Twitter was a way to get to know, keep in touch with, and actually even find some of my most favorite clients. I LOVE Twitter as a way to learn about others and their passions. To me, encounters are a lot hotter when they have substance. The more ways you connect with someone, the hotter the experience is. To me, Twitter is a great way to get to add more dimensions and character to the people you know, may want to know, or people that simply interest you.
I certainly enjoy it. My name there should be very easy to figure out if you're a curious sort.
"Let me tell you something pendejo, you pull any of your crazy shit with us, you flash your piece out on the lanes, I'll take it away from you, stick it up your fuckin' ass and pull the trigger till it goes click." "Jesus." "You said it man, nobody fucks with the Jesus"
"I've had a rough night and I hate The fuckin' Eagles, man!" "Smokey, this is not 'Nam. This is bowling, there are rules." "Stay away from my special...from my fuckin' lady friend, man!"

My favorite Lebowski line:
"Let me tell you something pendejo, you pull any of your crazy shit with us, you flash your piece out on the lanes, I'll take it away from you, stick it up your fuckin' ass and pull the trigger till it goes click."
It's just another form of marketing and when used properly, has been very helpful for me
I'm going to begin to use it to do "specials" for last minute openings etc for current clients I have who follow me on there .... I think that will go over quite nicely :
Although I have met some great gents through Twitter, it is also a way great to connect with other providers! It just adds an extra avenue of establishing one's name (just as a website or reviews would do).
A tip gents: Create a hobby account! There are actually guys out there that try to follow with personal accounts!
Twitter is a great way to find out what people really think. There is a coat of varnish that many apply when posting on TER that doesn't exist on Twitter. It can be eye-opening and there is nothing wrong with seeing things as they really are.
I've also established a hobby account and really enjoy it. You can say a lot in 140 characters. What someone tweets gives me insight into what kind of person they are, their interests and whether or not we might be compatible. Much more so than TER ads I think. And I love the candids...so keep em coming ladies!
