Is it unusual for a hobbyist to bring his own translator?  Sometimes the translator doesn't fit right and was wondering how the ladies feel about a hobbyist bringing his own.

You just never know.  Funny though...one provider insisted that I use hers.  I asked her why and she said she didn't know if there maybe holes in mine.  I said it was a sealed package just like hers but if that put her mind at ease, so be it.

I always bring my own.  I don't want a session ruined with the lack of covers being an issue.

One thing to note - some ladies don't care for latex so don't be upset if the lady says to use the ones she has.

... for me. I always have them on hand, but I don't mind when a gent brings his own. If you have a specific preference as to what type you like to use, it's probably a good idea to bring your own anyway.

I keep at minimum 3-4 sizes just so that everyone gets a proper fit.  I can see how some might not have that ability.  

So, if a guest brings his own that he wants to use he needs to show it to me early on so I can take it into the bathroom with the best light to investigate the packaging.  Sorry guys, there was a guy that was putting holes in the condoms he would bring so that they would break and he would get to do the FS BB...  I don't play that nor do I deal with people who tamper with them at all(I did once have a guy bring one and the container was already open, OH HELL no you are not going to use some dried up open condom on me).

If I know you, have seen you for years and KNOW you won't pull anything then I may use them if you pull them out before the act though I do still finger them to make sure there are not punctures or damaged packaging and I get to put on the party hat!!!

Honestly, after reading some of the reviews with the ladies not having any I would if I was a hobbiest ALWAYS bring some with.  Ask what she has on hand and if nothing seems like it will work for you then bring yours out and suggest.  Allow her to investigate it before use and don't be insulted if she does.

and seeing as I am not on any other type of birth control I have to be 100% sure that the quality(I read extensive reviews and details from manufacturers before buying mine) as well as the packaging still being intact.  It sucks that a few bad apples can ruin the bunch.  I hope you were still comfy in what I had.

.....a guy really doesn't need to bring his own.  So many brands, lengths, textures etc.
If he brings his own I'm not against it but 9 times out of 10 I already have available what he brought to the date.

I mostly see people that I already know as obviously I do not post often. I will discuss it with the guy, but if I have not seen him a bunch of times and have not had to chance to really know and trust him I will check the package before I play and I too will want to put the party hat on myself! I do also check mine just to make sure there were not any issues with the packaging just to be extra careful. Ya never know, but I have ever had a problem.

So, what brand do think are the safest / best?

Durex and tend to use them most, the smell of trojenz stinks and make the kit kat not so fresh so me no likey, and I hate to say it but when I 1st started I had alot of mishaps with Lifestyles so refuse to use that brand.  I do like crown and paradise too

I generally don't mind gents bringing their own IF it's an unopened box with the receipt from THAT DAY., but I prefer to use my own.  I provide a variety of sizes, shapes and materials (non-latex) and I've never had a situation where the gent was unable to be comfortably fitted.

Non-lubricated, also no for the main event. Magnum XL specifically are not fun because they suck the moisture COMPLETELY out of my naughty bits. LOL

I know that guys can be really attached to their brand, but please understand that our lady parts have to be comfortable or bad things can happen. Rashes, irritation, etc. I think it's best to let the ladies make the decision, but if you must have a certain type, bring them in an unopened box with the receipt. Some guys are freaks (poking holes in condoms), and I would NEVER use one unless I was sure that it was safe. Same goes for lube, toys, etc.  Unopened and with receipts.

I have a couple different sizes to choose from, but they are all non latex. I can't do latex or I will be out of commission for quite some time. It isn't worth it to me to be in that kind of pain.
