Do providers enjoy these?  Many times, they are just what I am looking for.  Lapdances, caressing, etc...sometimes a HJ.  
The last time I did it, it was a little strange, because the lady (1) couldn't believe it was all I wanted and (2) was horny and wanted to fuck.  

For me it's a great way to unwind without a lot of stress, but if the session is awkward, it doesn't really work.    

How do you ask for something like that and will it be thought of as odd?

1) she'll have more time to react.
2) you won't feel awkward asking.
3) (beforehand) so that she won't enter the session on the 'full-service-mental-track,' and will be prepared for that kind of session you're looking for when you meet up.

Just flat-out write: "I'm not looking for a discounted rate, I honestly just don't want a full-service session [today]. I just want a relaxing time...a lapdance, cuddling, caressing, kissing." or something along those lines.

different strokes for different folks..this is like paying for full service at a car wash and settling for your windshield being cleaned..makes no sense to me..if i am paying for the full package..i want the full package..

Upon successful screening, I am sure any companion would not have a problem with discussing more in detail how you would like to arrange your time. There are WAY weirder things out there being requested, so you should not feel awkward for your requests.

..And really, it should not matter how other people spend their time; It is about you. Do what you will enjoy.

Believe it or not, there are companions that actually like meetings where she can get to know you rather than the wam-bam-thank-you-Ma'am type scenario - Of course, A mixture of the two can be quite lovely and very enjoyable for both parties!

I think this could be a great way to approach a session when a client is a little stressed out and even the worry about performance and "rising to the occasion" could be a concern.

just getting a massage and before the session asking her if she would be willing to dance for you? It would be more cost effective and the lady may be up for it! I used to dance at clubs, but it has been a while! I think it sounds like a lot of fun!!!

You should probably find an AMP in Chicago. You will get massage, HJ and full service sex if yoiu want it for $160.
