So this is the second time while in Chicago a guy who claims to work at Best Buy and get cheap laptops contacts me looking to sell a 1200 laptop to me for 300 has anybody bought one of his laptops?? is he legit? Just curious xo Sabina

is a scam.  I also would never enter into an agreement like this with someone I did not already know WELL before hand.

a girl who worked with me! Yes I thought I was being cool by sending a guy who knew computers really well but they were in a shrink wrapped box and when opened they were old refurbised computers not worth what was paid. He had no way of knowing and wasn't going toopen th eboxes in a Dominicks parking lot.
Evidently he did get quite a few but I guess you live and learn.

I have found that it is unlawful to sell broken electronics that have been reconditioned.I am in process of filing a complaint with the state for a new in box ( so I thought) flat panel 47"  t.v . delivered to my door in box ,  and 10 months later it stopped working.Having a 1 yr warranty , I did what any other consumer would do and called the company.Upon giving the model number , it was found that my tv was pre owned and by a man in Maryland who brought the set back for repair and got a complete replacement.If you got a written receipt you should file a complaint with the  consumer protection division of Illinois. They handle consumer transactions . I can't understand why anyone would shrug off consumer fraud.
