Makes sense to me to keep discussions and ads separately.

I thought the new format might be a good idea.  But have you noticed there has been but 2 post made all day.  Maybe the ads stimulated some discussion or interest.  I think I am changing my mind.  Not sure if I agree with ya Jake....so far...not so good.

Did a quick scan of ads and came over here. Pretty efficient me thinks...

Ive been around here longer than most.  When I came over it was very slow, but the sharing of information was very good as was the trust.  I came here because the dog board was corrupt as could be, nothing there could be trusted.    From my perception things started picking up here when CTP started sharing prolific amounts of great info, somewhat afterward things imploded on the other board and some of the bad apple agency posters from there came here.  It has been a tug of war here ever since with them trying to manipulate and take over this board.  They post blatent lies under the cover of their weekley ad so no one can call them out.    

                Im hoping this board can now be more about discussions centered around hobbiests without people like Mike from simplygfe trying to run the place.  I value the contributions made by Sin, Sage and other providers and hope they stick around.    In the near future I think it will become a lot more apparant as to who is hear for what reasons.

       If I want to see who is running a special or visiting it is easy to see who is posting ads.   If I want discussions about the hobby I hope they can be found here without manipulation by agencies unable to stand on their own two feet without using this as their primary marketing tool.

     There have been discussions recently about serious things like BB, I would hope we can find a way to discuss things to make this hobby a safer more transparant one for the good of us the HOBBIESTS.  We need to make this more about us, and not as a place for white knights, shills, ads and agencies.

Matter of fact my Sept 1 post on the General Board  was supportive of the concept.  Bottom line I have been a part of TER for 10 yrs for the reviews and honest exchange of info about the ladies. Making good decisions about Providers and the ability to have honest hobby related discussions is valuable . Really not interested in the bitching and moaning and attacks [ especially from alias] and name calling.  My post was a simple obversation.  The question might be is without the ads are is there less interest in the discussion boards?  Less reason to check in and see whats going on and maybe see somthing that triggers an initial post or comment? And will there be less ads on the ad board which might inhibit new discoveries?   Disregard the post and discussion about the new format it does seem to be pretty slow on all the regional boards and frankly a little boring.   BTW....anyone else notice there is no ad board for pornstars?  Not sure if it is needed...but still.
