I'm scared to death of people leaving things behind so i'm like a puppy dog when they are getting dressed lol and making sure they don't leave anything behind to save the hassle of getting it back to them later on (or worse them thinking you took it). "Before you go.....ROOM CHECK!" lol.  

I agree. Luckily, this doesn't happen too often. Once, I had to ship the watch across the state Colorado. One left behind wallet, on Christmas, was picked up within an hr, one cell phone--the next day. I normally suggest to put things like watches inside the shoe

I recently left my phone behind. Luckily I was less than 20 steps out the hotel door and (after a mild panic attack, hahaha) I knocked on the door again and was happy to retrieve it sitting right on the dresser where I apparently left it for no good reason at all. phew

That's why I always try to remember a "man pat" at the door before I leave...watch-wallet-shirt pocket
