Hey! Has anyone here, providers or hobbyists, ever gone to Glamourcon? Is it fun? Worthwhile?
I'm intrigued and just wanted to see if anyone had anything to say about it.
Thanks and appreciations!

I saw a provider back in 1984 who was modelling at Glamoucon. She showed me all of the pics from her booth there and with other women also there, but I didn't go to the event itself. I'd say give it a shot and check out some of these women. I'd go too if a certain someone wasn't a part of it.

You should go and report back here about your experience.

I've been to several, most in LA (until they changed the location and my work conference didn't) and one here in Rosemont last year. The California ones had many, many more models (not just Playboy/Penthouse) and quite a few more people just reselling glamour stuff - like pics, videos, magazines, etc. There were lots more playmates and also gals who just did one feature - like the hottest girl next door of the year or something like that. I would say that Rosemont was definitely worth going to though if you can't get out west.

If you like hot women and want autographs and/or pictures it is a good place to go as long as you check the list of attendees to make sure there is someone there you want to see.

Bring lots of cash though! The girls make most of their money by charging for pictures with/of them. Expect between $5 - $20 from what I've seen. Most will sell their pictures, magazines, and videos. Some charge for autographs.

The photo seminars & workshops are top-notch. I've attended a couple. They limit the sizes, and are led by experienced professionals in the glamour industry. The workshops almost always have a great model or two to shoot while the pro will give advice and review your work - be sure to read the model release criteria. Well worth the money if you're into glamour photography.

I did see a couple models @ the CA shows that I've seen have websites for hobbying, but never talked to them about it. I did not recognize anyone at the Rosemont show - I would not go expecting to discuss the hobby.

Hope this helps, would have pm'd, but couldn't ...
