SINCE WE'RE NEW TO THE BOARDS I HOPE NO ONE DOES THIS TO OUR LADIES. I WOULDN'T PUT IT PASS ANYONE BECAUSE THIS IS A BOARD WHERE YOU CAN WRITE JUST ABOUT ANYTHING AND ABOUT ANYBODY.

I THINK PREFERRED411 WOULD BE MORE DISCREET THAN TER.....MY OPINION. WHAT'S GOING ON WITH THE HOBBYISTS ON TER???

Some people like da Bears and some the Packers.

Some like reviews and some do not.

Most kids choose in which sandbox they want to play in.  The smarter ones do not come in and throw sand and the others in the sandbox.

So much for putting that into practice. All I can say is, in all the years I have been on this site, I have never seen anyone get off to a worse start than you. Of course there are bad apples on every single site, what do you expect? From my experience, a solid majority of TER hobbyists are good people. You need to reserve your judgement until you gain some practical experience.

That's as nice as I can put it, and you may well see much worse in this thread.

I know of two babes who had pretty much expressed the same thoughts to me a few years ago. Nothing good to say about TER...the ladies who post on TER and especially the gentlemen of TER [ OK...I know I am using that term rather loosley].   Interestingly both...one a Va babe another from Chicago have recently poped up on TER posting their ads.  Hmmmmm.

when the opinionated OFFER nothing but ridicule, then I believe that makes YOU no better than those you bash.  Try making things better and see where that goes, then and only then can you point to the facts of others digressions.

...this board does not have any more issues than any other national board, and it actually has some advantages, such as my being able to post this comment or a review under an alias, thus protecting my identity, and it's international coverage (at least potentially). As long as the mods are above board, and I don't do anything wrong myself, it's a pretty slick setup.

But it was a question and I wanted to get everyone's input. I read it on several websites and because we're new on the boards I wanted to know if any other providers have gone through such thing as stated in my post. I'm not saying the hobbyists are bad, neither am I making anyone out to be a bad person. I was asking a question and those of you who have replied, I take it you're cool. My apologies if I rubbed anybody the wrong way but that was not my intention.

Do you often take trash that someone tells you about someone else and then repeat it to their face? Do you find that works well? It costs nothing for me to say to you that someone is a bitch and a whore, or that the reviewers on TER are all lying, hustling scum. If you then choose to repeat that back to her, or us, it could cost you a lot.

I am not saying TER is perfect, as it is not. But it works, it has rules, it is a community, and while none of us agree with everything that is said and done here, it has value. And if some a-hole slams you with no truth to it, there are a lot of ways to manage that if you want to take the time and make the effort.

People here have said things to me and about me that I did not much like. I am pretty sure that has happened to everyone who has spent much time here. Also happens to everyone who spends much time anywhere on the Internet, that is how this works. People pose, people scam, people flame, troll all the time. If that is not acceptable to you, good luck finding somewhere it does not happen.

Meanwhile, if you have an issue, I suggest you deal with that specific issue and not repeat negative generalizations from people who are too spineless to say them here and take the heat, or just move on. And do not assume that the rest of the community is too stupid to be able to tell the difference between some guy with an axe to grind, and a genuine review. It ain't that hard, really.

Overall, the review have been pretty accurate. When you take a chance and think the reviewer just had a bad day, they are usually right. Don't worry about false reviews. Can't let it stop you from helping your business. That's all it does. Also allows premium. No way you get premium donation without reviews. P911 is good place for screening like rs2k but this is it for reviews.

but TER isn't letting these things slide on purpose. There are a lot of people who don't want to play by the rules and with the volume of traffic this site gets, bad stuff slips through the cracks. Fake reviews are pulled when TER is notified. There are guys looking to get themselves a better deal by using the review process. TER doesn't advocate this but they can't police it either. And yes, one review listing services a provider doesn't actually provide can lead to demands by other guys. The system isn't perfect and it can't be with people playing the system for every advantage they can get. Less than honorable people exist everywhere and this place is no different. The vast majority of us are gentlemen and don't pull stunts like this so be careful about putting so much weight on comments you get from other sites.
