Hello Chicago!
I am a tourist and wanted good access to downtown Chicago.  Given the option, should I stay closer to O'Hare or Midway.  Thanks in advance!

If you want to relish Chicago for all it has to offer I recommend a hotel along Michigan Ave or Water Tower Place. PM if you need more info

O'Hare for sure..20 minute drive down 290..you are there..

Staying in the Ohare area. Its a 20 min drive, or a trip on the blue line and your downtown. And you dont have to pay high prices for parking, hotel, food, etc. PM me if you want specific hotel suggestions!

DT is best, many places are good.
O'hare is along I-90. Avoid it during Rush Hour at all costs.
Take the Blue line. O'hare had some good restaurants, and shopping along with a casino  
midway is void of decent hotels.

If you want to save on cost of a hotel try priceline. I just stayed at the Hyatt Chicago on wacker for $50 a night. If you need help just pm me and I will gladly assist you. There are also cheap places to park they are a little out of the way but still cheaper than some of the garages at $52 a night. I would definitely stay downtown and my second choice is O'Hare. I also have some tricks of the trade there also for free parking.
