The Girl I'm seeing has had her Business really Slow Down. Most of her Regular Clients don't see her as much as they used to, from what she's told me. I can pretty much pay what I want to her and she'll do most everything I want as if I paid her Full Price. I would still rather be a dude.  Recession equates to reinventing, coping, and evolving in order to make it work.  So yea, thrilled to be a dude and still hobbying at will despite the recession.  Plus I wouldn't want any of you filthy animals (me included) putting your paws on me.

When people are under pressure they need a release valve.  Maybe they won't spend as much, say, an hour rather a dinner date, but when times are tough the biz keeps going.
and yes, we ladies who are willing to step outside of what society deems socially acceptable are able to take care of ourselves throughout a down economy.
