When seeing ladies which area do you prefer to visit?
Chicago and surrounding is so spread out.
I used to stay Downtown while visiting way before covid  but now I tend to stay in the suburbs and close to O'Hare.

Dearest Jaydalee, When I worked downtown, I preferred downtown.  Now, I prefer the burbs, better parking and less traffic.  Kinda depends on where you work and live. Good Luck.  Cubs17

I’d prefer downtown. I would imagine you’ll get a pretty even split between downtown and O’Hare. Maybe south burns in the Tinley/Orland area sometime (wishful thinking I know …)?

Schaumburg area works great for me. Lots of nice hotels for hosting.

O'Hare. Getting downtown is a hassle, and parking is insane. Although many O'Hare Hotels have expensive parking, many also are free (agency owners, please consider this when picking a hotel!) The fact that I'm close to O'Hare may be biasing my thoughts.

Ohare.  Even the Alena agency has moved to almost all Ohare.  This past week, they are all at Ohare.  City is a pain with traffic and paid parking, but I'm a burbs guy.

There's other convenient places where parking is easy and free, including the Skokie area for the discreet.

Ohare is the easiest to get to and from. I rarely go into the city anymore.  

Parking downtown is a nightmare, so I tend to prefer the nearby N and NW burbs and Ohare which others have already mentioned.  As long as there is convenient parking available, I'm good.

I have mostly stayed in Oakbrook area. Schaumburg is off the list as they are cracking down and cleaning up. I often get many requests for the city but been awhile since I stayed in Chicago proper. Are there better areas then just Downtown/loop area? Or is being close to a train best ?

I prefer downtown because I work downtown and, at least pre pandemic, there was so much traffic in the lobbies no one paid any attention to you.

I was in Schaumburg when I visited last month and will be there in Jan as well.
