Here's my 2 cents...obviously you've gotten some mail on the subject (and I'm not referring to Sin's probably very helpful PM mentioned above, either), and you brought the topic up on the board to discuss its validity. Okay, great...but seriously? At the end of the day, it is YOU who has to be the one who is comfortable with herself and what she does, not anyone else. You said that you don't get out much and are bored-well, look at it this way-at least if you are going to spend your free time on the board, you aren't being a troll, spreading venom, or sending hate mail to every Tom, Dick and Harry who dares post a harmless joke, story, etc.

I don't buy that you "don't get out much" because that implies that you are boring and uninteresting and you are NOT that at all. But, even if you were, there are clearly a lot of other people that "don't get out much" and are "bored" as well, only they are the ones trying to put you down for posting and speaking your mind.

I say fuck 'em--you don't have to answer to them. You have to answer to YOU. Be true to yourself-trying to please everyone and their dog gets you nowhere but confused, anxious and, ultimately, miserable.

Look at it this way...they just wish they had as many interesting things to share as you do. They are too busy being negative and critical. *shrugs* Consider the source, I say.
