This should end it once and for all, LOL.
No, I don't consider myself Latina because I have no Hispanic origins, according to the modern (and more widely accepted) definition of what "Latino/Latina" means.  This is mostly a term made familiar among those of Mexican, Central/South American, and Spanish-Caribbean descent.
I do, however, have some Spanish blood, but that just means I'm of European/Mediterranean descent.  None of my Spanish ancestors ever made it over to, what is now considered, Hispanic America.

I don't consider myself "of Latin descent" either, as  "Latin" was originally meant to describe a language. It shouldn't really be used to describe heritage, these days (unless you don't mind people assuming you're MUCH older than you really are, lol!)  It's no different than saying a person with an Asian background is Oriental!

Did that make anyone dizzy? :)

and you are right about Asia too. Most people think being Asian means being Chinese :)

Asia however consists of Saudi Arabia, India, and parts of the former USSR along with several other countries

Very true. And since I have a healthy dose of Middle Eastern blood, along with the European bloodlines, I'd technically be considered "Eurasian." I just don't really advertise myself under that description for reasons of people automatically assuming I'm Chinese.  Not that there's anything wrong with being mistaken for Chinese, but I can just hear it now...."Hey! That's false advertising! Renata says she's Eurasian, but she's not even Chinese!" LOL! ;)

along with everything else about you...till next time we meet.  And by the way, you are absolutely gorgeous..whether it be an Asian, European, American and just a great person!!

Dear Beautiful Woman.
From the thread that continued following my post about you, it appears that I have mislabeled or perhaps offended you. MY HUMBLE APOLOGIES!!!!! It was not my intention!!
As you are aware, I am of European descent. We share several common roots.
In Europe from whence I come, Latin is an Italic language/culture that encompasses anything originating from the Romance languages, including Aragonese, Catalan, Corsican, French, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, Sardinian, and Spanish. Being that we both originate from some of the above, I instantly thought of you as a suggestion for Avery's desires.
I now see that in the "States" it implies something very different. I am sincerely sorry!
I still see no reason why Avery should not be wetting her knickers and wanting to see you! (Been there, done it and want to repeat ASAP!!! YUM, YUM!!)
Personally, I cannot wait till you are back my way!
YOU ROCK!!!!!
XOXO
M'laid

Oh no, hun, no offense taken at all!  I consider it a compliment, actually, but its just not an accurate description of me, technically.  I can definitely pass for being "Latina" though. ;)

Italian/Eurasian/Spanish-Carribbean/No Chinese...got it. :-)

My question is, do you have tan lines?
