... and see if it shows up. If you haven't already, do check on the folder labeled as All Mail. Lastly, go to Settings (Click on the gear icon on the top right corner) and verify the selections in the tabs called Inbox and Filters.

I get emails for someone else occasionally. Our e-mail addresses are the same, except mine has a period in it in the middle. Seems gmail has issues with punctuation. No idea of that's your issue though. I would stop using gmail for your "work" e-mail, though.

are you setting "delete Gmail's copy" after the forward by any chance? i'd check the Trash folder and see.
 

Try the following:
Check your account settings for any block.  
Change password to ensure that no one else is deleting your emails.  
Archieve emails and see that helps.
Remove autoforward to this emai

That's odd. Gmail doesn't differentiate between punctuation in the email ids. For example,

[email protected] is the smae as any of the following:
[email protected], [email protected], [email protected] -- it is all the EXACT same email address. Try it yourself!

If you REALLY want to make sure that you get it, you can add any phrase that you want to your existing email id as follows:

[email protected] can be [email protected] -- basically any word you add after the "+" works and it comes to your inbox. This way, the other Alyson parker will not get your emails AND it comes with the added convenience of being able to create custom filters where you can search for that exact word after the "+"
