The best tip is to repeat with them.

If you absolutely insist, an extra 50-100 is more than fair. But it's really not necessary.

though leaving her a super low tip like coins or under 10$ might almost be considered by some an insult.  The most common are 50$ or 100$.  20$ has also been left as well.  

As far as should you?  If you feel the situation deserves it then sure.  Especially if she went over time with you, then tipping to at least come up to what the time you actually got is greatly appreciated though not needed if she in fact went over of her own accord.  

In this industry our pricing is our pricing.  So while a tip is nice, the best thing you can ever do is return.  

As far as waitresses.  Well, this is way different.  They make a lower wage and count on their tips to make up for that fact so low balling or not tipping a waitress can greatly hurt her.  We don't make a lower wage we can't survive on/that you need to tip us up on.  

Don't get me wrong, the tip will certainly put a smile on my face and a bounce in my step not to mention the boost to my self esteem.  I also be more likely to remember you, not because I am greedy but because tipping is not all that common so it stands out.

I tip 50 to 100 depending on the length of the appointment and if it was a non rush all as advertised appointment

This is a well paying profession. Do you tip your lawyer or doctor? Not saying we make as much, but we do well.

Appreciation can be shown with a bottle of wine or a souvenir beer or shot glass.

Tip someone who makes 300+ per hour??  Sorry, absolutely not

I would give a $25 gift card - usually Starbucks. The first few times I did this, the gals seemed to like that. But the last time I did it, the provider showed no gratitude. Like none. That was it. So, never again. I'll agree with what's been said before - your tip will be my repeat business. And if you're still sniffing around for a tip, then here's one for ya - don't eat yellow snow.

Donation level has nothing to do with it for me.  
If I have been treated well I always tip.  That includes being on time and not leaving me hanging, quality of the dfk, general enthusiasm/spirit of the session, or cim.  
  Will tip extra if we go over time.

where tips are the service provider's primary source of income. We all know what types of jobs those are - this business is certainly not a low-paying job by anyone's standard of measurement.
