Chicago is fab!!! Make sure to play tourist if you have time

I am a new local girl here in Chicago.  Hotels depend on what area of town you are staying in.  I think for the most part you are safe with any hotels as long as you are discreet and screen, screen, screen.

Downtown is more where the action is nightlife, restaurants, etc.  Just depends on what you like.  The food here in Chicago is awesome.  Great pizza, sandwiches, thai, chinese, etc.  Depends on the type of foods you like.

Sorry I wasn't more help.  Maybe give everyone some more info on how you want your trip to be and what you are interested in.

go eat steak at 3 Forks, they also have a great rooftop bar. stay downtown at any nice hotel in river north, or near michigan ave and you can't go wrong. entertainment? go see guns n' roses july 1st or 3rd at soldier field. it may be sold out, but you can still find tix online  do you have a website?
