I have noticed that a few ladies like to engage in a bit of light flirting, and sometimes more, via email ot text in the days leading up to a planned date.  I enjoy that, and if done right, find that it builds anticipation (as if I needed that, lol) and contributes to the illusion.  And yes, I understand it is all in fun!  Others are more business like in their approach.  You will get a confirmation email, then perhaps a few days out you may get another to insure that everything is still on track, which usually contains instructions for contact on the day of.  That is okay, too.

Each has it's own place and, I would guess many variables, including the time a lady has available for such things, and the guy's openness to further communication, to name a couple.  In some cases the pattern changes somewhat after you have seen each other a couple of times.  

So, ladies how do you like to approach a date?  Is it different with someone new, vs and old friend?  Guys, what your thoughts on this?  Do you like staying in touch, building up to a date, or do you prefer as little communication as possible?  Come on!  Jump in and share your opinion!

A couple emails back and forth can be a good thing. I like a little light flirty banter back and forth. Nothing too major if its a lady I see pretty regularly say once a month or so sometimes a little general conversation between appointments is nice. Kind of keeps the friends with benefits illusion going.

I'm going to be brutally honest here and risk some backlash:

An email here or there is great and can be a lot of fun.  It also lets me know I'm dealing with someone fun (if he's a new client).  But some guys just go on and on and on as though they are the only correspondence I deal with on a daily basis.  A hit here and there is great, but several times a day?  Really?  and I get several of those every single freaking day.  I am extremely polite and accommodating.  But it takes up so much time; sometimes more time the actual appointment.  It's crazy.  

I have one example where the guy does it perfectly: He makes his appointments about 2-3 weeks in advance.  Every 4 or 5 days or so I get an email from him stating simply something to the effect of: "I can't wait!"  Or he may give me a one liner of what he plans to do to me.  That's fun and totally cool and I look forward to those.  I respond in kind and we go on about our lives.

But the ones who email or text constantly about what am I doing right now, Did I have a good night, Is it raining where I am?  Please!  I've seriously had over 100 texts/emails a day for several days from a couple of clients (but usually it's prospective clients that do this)- even when I do not respond!  Crap!  

Keep it light and fun and non-personal. And never forget our real relationship to each other.

that there are always those that can turn something fun and flirty into what can seem like stalking!  Just don't respond to those whackos who abuse the priviledge, and if necessary block the number or email address.  Sounds like you may need to be a little less "polite and accomodating" with some of those guys  Hopefully they don't ruin it for the rest of us, who know how to keep things in perspective!  I do appreciate your comments!

I like to keep the communication open between appts with my clients, (given the ones that are able to) rather it be emails, texts, or calls. Sometimes it's just a "Hello how are you?" to a more in depth "let's be flirty & dirty".    

When a new client approaches me thru calls, emails or texts, It's more business like at first. Gathering information, trying to get a feel of each of our personalities, and boundries, So when our appointed date time arrives, the session has more meaning than just a poker face moment.

So I go with unbridled enthusiasm and an unmatched determination to PLEASE! Then it is gratefully given back and MAN IS IT GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just humbly thankful for women, never found anything that makes me feel like being with a good woman or a bad one if that is the case.
