Wondering if someone could give some insight or suggestions of places to stay overnight in uptown Charlotte the night of the meet and greet.

I've asked for a few recommendations myself....Maybe someone could put a list together for the attendees ??  Or I'll just figure it out on the fly that night...  Or maybe some charitable lady will take me in LOL

Downtown Charlotte has several nice hotel.  My favorite is the Aloft, about 100 per nite if confirmed on line.  Also the holiday Inn center city is also about 100 per night.  There are also, Hilton,Omni, Marriout Courtyard and Marriott city center.  Those are all nice and all hotels listed are walking distance.  Also there is  considerable night light,again all walking distance
