I love it! The layout makes everything so much easier to find. There is even a little box on the left to check if it is your provider ad for the week.

Appearance: Neat & clean ... Nice 'new' look for TER.

I prefer the layout of threads as it is now with the indentations. With the beta version threads ... How do you know where a given comment is directed other than the original post? Maybe I missed an 'option' in personal settings or something. Another site (now defunct)was like the beta version and there was constant "quoting" just so readers knew what/where the comments were directed.

Ad Icons ... Seems like it may be MORE work for the Mods. Not going to work for the over-posting creative writers. MOST Carolina ladies don't abuse this T&C but it occurs often overall.

Yeah, I agree about the threads. I was thinking about it last night when I noticed that some recent threads did not look cohesive. We will have to use the quote function to be understood, and that could get old. I like the ad icons though, even if it is more work for the Mods. I hope it won't be, eventually.

I think it will make it easier for hobbyists to zone in on the ads. I hope that does not deter people from reading the conversation threads. It would be a shame if men and women both were to come here only to read and post ads.

Concentrating on promoting a reputation second to none for accurate reviews is probably a huge draw. The conversations, personalities, and sense of community are the icing on the cake that make people want to return more often. It's part of what keeps the lurkers hooked, and, I believe, one of the factors that eventually lead them into membership.

There I go again, running on and on. I know I tend to over analyze every situation, but what the hey? I hope somebody enjoyed the read, and decides to ad their own views. As the developers work, I am sure TER can use all the feedback it can get right now.
