Questions about Charlotte Thanks for your input

Hi Carolina's board. Does anyone have recommendations on areas of town that are most convenient or preferred to visit? Downtown or airport area maybe? Also, are there any must see sites, events or restaurants other than the usual Yelp recommendations. Thank you so much, your suggestions are greatly appreciated  

As Juls said, uptown is fine, guys will just have to pay for parking. I'd suggest South Park. Its very convenient for everyone, centrally located, and much easier parking. I live near Ballantyne and its great, but its all the way south of Charlotte and not as convenient for people if they have to come across town. Stay away from the airport area!

Well, you don't have to, but they do have the best salted caramel brownies I may have ever tasted!

Do they have good coffee?  The pastries are out for me, not by choice. But I just love a good cup of coffee.
