Needing some travel advice. Never been to Spartanburg only passed through heading other places. Can anyone recommend a good hotel or restaurant there? Maybe a nice date kind of place or one of those not so fancy but still nice local favs? Of ya wanna hit me up away from here my email is my handle at live dot com. I agree the Marriott is the best place to stay. Renato's is a really good Italian place downtown. Stax Billy D's is awesome too and close to downtown. There's not much in S'burg but you're only 30 minutes from Greenville where you'll find many good restaurants and hotels.

Welcome, in Spartanburg the best hotel is the marriott hands down, There are not alot of options.  

As far as Greenville, it really will take a few trips to figure out the best area for you personally because GREAT CHOICES ARE SPREAD ALL OVER. If you want to try downtown(id say most girls do for the first trip) hyatt or westin are too notch.

Most girls stay off pelham road, which has a buffet of great friendly places like theCourtyard Marriott or marriott and residence in has nice suites w full kitchens and fire places.

Woodruff is busy which is good but it makes it hard for guys to get to, especially during the holidays. Drury inn has a nice jacuzzi room and free beer and a snack daily.  

Stay away from white horse road, hawthorne suites and clarion off haywood and any place thats less than 40 bucks.  

These are just my personal thoughts. Have a safe trip

Good info it will help me out and hopefully as an added bonus maybe help a lady out too. It's nice to see someone willing to help folks out.  
And yeah I'm a guy probably a good thing if I was a lady the way I love the female body I'd never leave the house!!
