I participate on another board that has a "special" on almost every day of the week.
If a lady posts a meassage with her picture and promotes herself, but doesn't link her website, is that an ad?
This other board is full of the same ladies, posting the same pictures, and the same guys posting the same replies over and over.
Somehow I do believe that that can be considered "advertising".

But, it seems to be up to the individual board Moderators to make that determination.

Personally, I do wish there was less "Ta-Ta Tuesday, Wet and Wild Wednesday, Tushy Thursday, Freaky/Fetish Friday, Whale Tail Weekend" but, it's not my call, so I mostly just ignore them and hope that other threads don't get pushed off the first page quickly.
We used to have only "Provider Friday" for the guys to acknowledge their lady of the week and "Hobbiest Monday" for the ladies to give a shout out to a special guy. But those seem to have gone away, replaced by the barrage of pseudo-ads.

I don't think it's a positive change.

I'm sure you are referring to me...

Half my posts don't even make it to the board. I will stop posting here and go on back to the other board. It was fun while it lasted.....I think it's fun to look at beautiful women who enjoy sharing their photos..seems the men would too.




I'm guessing this won't make it to the board. If you are gonna pay, you should be able to play a little...that's my .02 and I'm gonna add 19.98 to it and go somewhere else.

If a lady wants to post a picture of herself on a reply post in a thread, I say go for it.  There is NO reason to post a link if she is smart and is verified with TER and has her reviews linked to her profile.

That being said, it would NOT be smart for the lady to do this on EVERY post she makes.  If she has had some new photos of herself and wants to show them off, do it within ONE thread, or leave it up to her one ad per week post calling attention to her new pictures.

Its a tough call, but you have always been fair with your judgements.  Hopefully the ladies sending you PM's are active posters and not just griping about stuff.

Regarding Bobb's question, I have a "Hardcore Hump Day" on Wednesdays on my boards. Members can post XXX vids, or pics at their leisure. I encourage kink, raunch, and over the top stuff. That's the only day we do anything different, or special. (I'm assuming YOU are talking about the Florida board Bobb).

I would also agree that IF a lady posts her link on every posts that she makes, then that is advertising. I believe that some ladies do post a comment to a lot of threads just so they can post their link. As Haya said, if they have reviews on TER and the "TER Reviews" link beside their name, then there is really no need to include their website link along with their post.

I have to agree with Bob, I believe in "back to the basics". I don't mind seeing a few "ta ta Tuesdays" etc., but not every single day of the week. It usually ends up being the same ones posting all the time. I usually just scroll thru a lot of it. Maybe a Best Tits Contest once a month or something like that would be OK.

First of all...The ladies that are bombarding you about "abusing" the posting rules..are

just as bothersome as the ladies that "abuse" the posting rules.

I have noticed several ladies posting more than their share of "Ads"...I understand it is one "AD" a week. If you post a "SUDDEN" weekend availability...that is an ad.


Ladies have to give credit to the guys..... that they can find their "ADS" all over the internet and that it just might be possible to fill their day with other activities than "WORK"


Everyone wants an even playing field...the same chance for success. I and everyone else on here understands that.

But think about the Mod who does this for fun....a volunteer....and he is bombarded with the "Drama" of complaints.


We are all adults.

If you see someone "abusing" the system...it does get to be irritating. It is also irritating when a lady has other providers that are always jealous or causing trouble for her....
THAT is something that is constant. And some guys even play those little games sometimes too.

It is a good thing IMHO to let your friends know you have NEW pics. Depending on who the MOD is and who the Lady is...sometimes it can be considered an AD.

This is what I think.

Everyone should be respectful of others.

Mind your own business.

If you are always worried about someone else...where will you get to in YOUR life? Think about the BIG picture.  Think about what really is important in your L I F E.

I believe 6 months ago or so we all WANTED to make the Carolinas' board more F U N.
Stir up some excitement. For the most part we have done that.
Consideration for others is a lifeskill I admire. But I also know not everyone has the same LIFESKILLS.

Believe it or not. There are some people in this life and even in this business who will NEVER be happy and they are miserable but need company.
And they just hate to see other people happy. And then yes..some people just have NO CLUE...
And then you see someone who never breaks a rule...slip up or become a constant rule breaker...

All of this is the beauty of life.
It's almost childish when you think about it.
We are Adults on an Adult site and the rules are so simple but the Adults are so complicated...

I used to get slammed on another forum for breaking rules that all the other ladies broke. But I had some ladies who hated me and they played games....this kinda sounds like the same kind of drama.

In a very short time I am retiring. It is this kind of crap that I will not miss.
From what I have read in the last 4 years...nothing has changed..just the names to protect the.....? You fill in the blank!
I know one other thing. I might have my opinion and you have yours. I RESPECT that.

I've found that each moderator is different and I check out a board and see what flies and what doesn't on that board.

I'll use the Florida Board as an example because I'm very active on  the Florida Board, even though I live in NC. There are opportunities almost every day for ladies to post pics on a thread. It's a very active board and has alot of "stuff" like Ta-Ta Tues, WetnWild Wednesdays, Tushy Thurs, etc. This gives ladies additional exposure without breaking the 7 day ad rule. But no website links are supposed to be on a post with those pics. However, Sly doesn't want any posts on the board that aren't related to the "hobby", such as sports. That's how his board works.

But other mods allow unrelated topics to be posted such as sports, the weather, where's a good place to eat, etc.

I tour alot with my BFF from Tampa, Janelle. We post on each other's threads with a pic and that's cool. We usually say something like "Available for doubles" etc.

So that being said, I think it's up to each mod to say what flies on his/her board. If he doesn't want something on there, then just say the word.

Common sense should let a lady know what is ok on a board. but that doesn't always happen. It's usually obvious when a lady is taking advantage and not following the protocol.

If a lady is excited about having some new pics and posts one as a tease with no link sometimes, it doesn't bother me. If she did it every week, several times, it would, and I might ask the mod about it. I think every mod should have an "open door" policy about someone writing and asking about something... But we should respect the mod's time and not bitch and moan about something every week.

If several ladies have complained  about the same thing then I feel the mod (Dingus in this case) should take a look at what the complaint is about and make a judgement call. Either post it on the board or let the people who wrote know in a PM.

That being said, let's all work to make the mods "job" easier, since they all have a life outside of TER.

Yes , you definitely SHOULD consider a post that says "Look at my picture" as an ad. Wayyyy too many ladies abuse the priviledges they are given. She is showing others / or ADVERTISING the way she looks.

I don't mind ladies advertising and including a link to their site here.  I'd trust their ad here more here than on CL or elsewhere.  The Board will give folks feedback if someone is posting too often.  We're adults here.

If someone does post an ad, I'd like providers to:
1) put your city in the title
2) see a picture & link
3) provide a special for TER members if you are doing one of these short notice kind of things

I figure most folks will skip someone not in their city so it shouldn't be a big deal.

Ladies......remove ALL your pics from your website and refrain from posting pics for 1 week and see what happens. No pics = no interest = no appointments. Pics are ads and ,IMHO, violate the 7 day ad rule.
