rry Christmas! Finally home. Missing Mexico already.  The flight home was long, long, long................I won't bore you with the details, only the highlights, lol. I was suppose to have a Med pass around customs, so I thought. The taxi driver told me I had to walk thru customs with both suit cases after my back procedure????/ I was like ? WTF???? So, I did. I found someone to carry my bags for $15.00. It was about an hour to the other side.

 They X-Rayed my bags and low and behold I had to be searched. I can laugh about It now, yet, .................The Mexican guy asked me if I had any fruit or plants in my bad, and I said no............So, they X-ray my bag again and low and behold, I had eaten an Avocado for supper the night before, wrapped the seed in a napkin, and I guess when packing I threw it into my suitcase. ????

 I thought OMG...........I am going to jail over an avocado seed! I had a half of bottle of delicious red wine that I had packed and the meds I had gotten filled and they could have cared less about any of that. LOL..........

He told me he would have to talk to his supervisor........My  

Heart stopped.........!!!!!!! An Avocado seed I thought>. What about my 1/2 opened bottle of wine and my scripts????  What am I missing? Then I looked and saw the thing on agriculture........No plants, wildlife, (like me......) whatever.......due to I guess "contamination"?? to  another city ???? County??? someone clue me in..........

 He came back and said, "OK, I asked you if you had any fruit.........I did not asked you if you had any seeds........." as I am sweating bullets, he tells me he is going to write me a warning and Merry Christmas, that normally that would be a $300 fine. Geez, I really do not remember throwing that napkin into my bag...........I thought.... as I walk out of the seizure room. .

 Home again, looking at my calendar, I do have an invite for the 27th and the 29th in Asheville, My cats are back, they left when I did. How did they know I was home? Amazing.  

 Life is just amazing, and I am thankful that some of the people on the board  were with me on my trip for I had someone to share it with. Merry Christmas and all those good things that come in my thoughts..............After sleeping 24/7 and having some odd dreams............it seems like life is like that sometimes...........just a dream............goodnight...........sweet dreams , Kelley

Gosh, I just thought of something. I used to work in Belks's as "The Clinque" girl while living in Greensboro........Imagine that? I am not an artist and not very good at painting my own face much less others, lol. The person who had hired me had had a heart attack when I arrived to work that day and it was December and he would not back be back until January.  
   
 The manager who was suppose to train me for a week, just quit, and I was on my own. The girl who lived up to her name, "Terra" basically deserted me thinking I would fail, leaving me in all kind of tight spots to make me look bad.  
   
 The cologne department was right beside Clinque, where I was working.  I could not figure out for the life of me why my nose kept running. I guess I was allergic to perfume?????? I finally got adjusted to that..... and also to being left alone in my new department where I knew nothing except I did know how to run the cash register, Ta Da!  
   
 Terra, had no idea that I had previously worked at Belks for 5 months before coming to Greensboro and knew how to operate the cash register and how to do returns, sales, the store policies, etc.  
   
  Of course it was Christmas, and people wanted to be made over, so I just made the best of what I had. I brought all the palates out of different kinds of makeup, from foundations to eyes, to mascara, and told everyone who ever did the best job would get a free Clinque package. Ta, Da! It worked!  
   
  I was able to ring up all the customers who had long lists of things to get, while everyone else played dress up with the make up.  I was able to reward everyone with  left over gifts from Clingue with bags of samples, Everyone was happy, including me...........Until............  
   
 Needless to say I was hated by many for getting "Shining Star" 5 months in a row for sales. Amazing, life is just amazing sometimes. Just make the best of what you have, fake it till you make it, and all those other good sayings.......... Shake off the bad and look for the good is all I have to say.........Merry Christmas, Kelle
