Hello Anne,

Nice to see that you have your website up and running.  Here are some suggestions.

1/   Your display for nagivation needs a little work. For instance, when you click on Friends, the naviagtional display is http://www.ashevilleanne.com/Page_6.html.  It would be better if it showed http://www.ashevilleanne.com/Friends.html

2/  I agree with HootOwl.  Perhaps you should consider using a bolder color to display your name.  Yellow is too light, and is difficult to read.

3/  Page layout -- you may want to space the options on the left handside.  That way they don't appear too be too cluttered.  Also, you may want to consider tightening the
borders.

4/  Pictures -- it would be nice if you could put a thumbnail of your pictures on the photos webpage.   The viewer can then click on the pictures they may be interested in viewing.  

Now, I say this because it took a while for the page to be loaded on my machine.   Not sure if others encountered a similar performance related issue... just some food for thought ;-)

I was going to wait until it was perfect to let yall know, but I'm too excited to wait.  I've been working on this for awhile and have had the _worst_ time trying to get it to upload.  In fact, some stuff didn't upload at all like I intended (e.g., the email link doesn't work, although it does provide an address).  Also, I had to blur out my face instead of pixelating it and I think I look really bizarre now.  Oh, well.

Please let me know what you think, and especially please let me know if it does anything super wierd like locking up your computer, or holding you prisoner at my site (it did that to me for awhile, but I think I've got that fixed).

It was nice to put a face...er, body with a name.

I especially liked the lines "I'm working on my flatulence problem" and "I am approaching fluency in English"

You made me LOL.

Incidentally your link took me to the directory of your site, not the index page. I found the index page and clicked on it, but you don't want others to have to do that.

Saddle up. I can't tell you how exciting it is to get a look at you!!!! and your beautiful..... Web site (among other things)

It's coming along nicely so far, and I'm glad you didn't wait, cause, I've been anticipating this for several weeks.

I haven't had a chance to read through it yet, but I'll be checking it out some more later tonight.

Anne, very nice site. However you need to change the name of your front page file. It is is now :

Page_1x.html

you need to change it to:

index.html

That way when we click on the link the page will automatically load.

Hey Anne -- Liked your website -- I would like to offer some suggestions and observations.

1) Replace the yellow titles with a stronger color.

2) On http://www.ashevilleanne.com/index/Page_7x.html, some of the text is cut off on the right side in the "Expectations for Clients" section.

3) In the "Gifts" section in the above page, the copyright notice is on top of the text used for the answer.

Let us know if you ever decide to travel to NYC!

I've had a little more time, now to really enjoy your site. I think it's great, and it suites you well.

It sounds like you have a wonderful life there, and that you're enjoying it thoroughly. That makes me so happy. AND jealous. can we trade?
