I set up a meeting with a fairly well known provider here in Columbia. She had very nice reviews on here and I felt like she was a good choice. So I got in touch with her and she told me that due to privacy issues she would need to get a room. And since this was our first meeting she wanted a deposit. Well I fell for it and sent her the deposit. She then missed the appoinment but several hours later emailed me and told me her mother was sick. I thought "these things happen" so I asked her to set up another appt the next week. She then told me she was having female issues and wouldn't be able to see me the next week. After that week she then canceled the next appointment because her father got sick. So lets see..how many more relatives are in poor health? Yeah I figure I done got suckered but you guys don't need to be victims if you are forewarned.  So if you are going to see Ava Layne, don't be foolish enough to give her a deposit unless it's in person at the hotel.

I would not have paid a deposit for a normal engagement. Reviews or not.
This hobby is already sketch enough, no need to add fuel to the fire by feeding the creature.

You would have been better off to offer to pay for accommodations or have her visit your location.
Furthermore, if she had no real screening process there is probably a reason she got cold feet and bailed.

Respectively, there is nobody to turn to when this happens, except blast her on a board.
I see indy girls and agency girls alike, however, I do walk in a more confident step when working with a reputable agency.

Ask for a refund...LOL. let us know how that works out for ya

I guess a couple of things to consider

1. No review in almost a year
2. Website link doesn't work
3. Anybody asking for money up front, before you even meet them, pass.

There has been times that I have paid a deposit but the lady was travelling a good ways  to see me.  She had gotten burnt many times, but the lady always showed up with bells on.   It would appear Ava quit.  But she did make the CB dns list now.  

Sorry it happened Bsecret. And thanks for sharing.  I do hope you do see a refund but it doesnt look good.
