This is a hard one to post.

My sister has been diagnosed with Leukemia. My youngest sister. We call her affectionately "Lovie". I lost my Dad to Leukemia and my Mother to cancer when she was 51 years young. This is a huge shock for me and my sisters and brother but we are strong.

I'm from the midwest, born in Chicago, but my family are all in Michigan. So that's where I'm heading. I hope I can adjust to the cold.

This has certainly changed my life and those closest to me. But like everything in life, we always look at the glass half full. That can be evidenced by my two Seniors in High School. They informed me today that they get to graduate early!! They have enough credits. There ya go.

This does not mean I will start to root for Michigan. I'm a Dookie wherever I land.
