I have some last minute stuff that came up for work so it looks like I will be in Raleigh next week for a couple of days.

Locals recommend a good provider and how about some hotels?  What's decent and easy to get to?

I like to stay at the clarion,on hillsbough st, downtown raleigh. They have a nice bar on the 21st floor overlooking the city,  you can walk to glenwood ave where there is lots of bars and restaurants,  and guests can come and go unnoticed.
