I agree, the individual should be "outed" and all should be made aware.

Reviews are important and can make or break a providers career. Wonder what kind of review he plans to leave...any respectful provider would not accept such a trade..

Does he tell providers how he is on a fixed income?

I agree.  If he is willing to leave a 'good' review for services rendered, he is likely to leave a 'bad' review if something doesn't go his way.  A provider would be best advised to steer clear of this all together, imo.

Couldn't providers just handle this via provider boards or using the blacklist boards?  Careful providers would be able to confirm this is a known scam and the drama could be left off these boards.

After all, not all of us can get on the provider only board, and it seems to be plenty ok to post pretty much whatever else in regards to call outs, so why not?

Well, he isn't scamming anyone. He does post reviews that do reflect his time with the provider. If you look at the business side of things, it does make sense. Food critics do not pay for their meals when visiting restaurants to write a review. However low balling a new provider below 150 is not something I could do.

Fact is, most hobbyist wouldn't get a second look by most of the providers in a mall, so pay a fair donation for the fantasy your seeking, regardless if your reviewing.

Just another fyi hobbyist since I closed shop.... when your a big reviewer and the girl knows it, don't go into the appointment already critiquing and judging the girl from the start. Too many guys sit there just to see what she is going to do so they can write about it later rather than enjoying the time spent.

Regarding the hobbyist who states : "I'm the review guy, give me a negotiated rate for hour of your time and I'll hook you up with a review that will increase your business..etc etc" ... I have experienced worse.

I was traveling in Charlotte with a companion friend about a year ago. She called me to her room, crying, when the hour was up. She said the client, who is very active on TER boards and has been for years, told her upon entering the room that she would do everything he told her to do with no questions asked or resisting, or he would write her a review on TER "that would ruin her livelihood forever and she would never escort again". Yep. Monsters are alive and real, apparently. Instead of turning him out of the room immediately and blacklisting him, she saw him and obliged his desires, and I arrive to her room and comforted a woman I knew was traumatized by the events that occurred.

YES ...she should have been smarter, wiser, stronger and turned the man away from the get-go. But I wonder if the gentlemen who love and care about us realize the power of a TER review... these reviews are double edged swords. I do see the value in TER reviews, when they are not used as tools for vengenance or by a man who happens to hate women.

Please do tell if he was later blacklisted?

And to throw it out there, anyone treats previous providers from us that decided to go independent like that, they will meet me.

I've taught them how to screen and run their business and they know I'm around if they need help.

Honestly, I don't know if she ever blacklisted him since I've lost touch with her. I hope so, though!

Some guy did something that he shouldn't have and is taking advantage of young ladies.

Blah, Blah Blah. Without a handle, it's as useless as saying "Be careful, cops are busting people"

If you want to provide a warning, then strap your alias on (if you must) and warn people. Otherwise, just say up front, "I'm going to spout some shit, that has little to no value".

Oh and ncelites, threatening people publicly, besides being so third gradish is a nice way to get a firm smack from the ban hammer. But since you don't run an agency anymore, I guess that really doesn't matter.
