I think most places, like Savannah, already have these types ordinances in place.  I see in the mugshots all the time, Charges: Escorting without a permit.  They usually crack down on these from the ads on BP.  Unless you are talking about something else, all I saw was a move by the city of Pooler just outside Savannah to require the permit

natasha...do you have a link to an article or something?  I went to the Chatham County Sheriff's bookings for the past three days.   There was one charged with escorting without a license, and on charged with prostitution.  When I do a search all I find is a bust over a year ago of 7 people.

"savannah prostitution" and it will come up.  The headline is "Police charge 21 in Chatham County prostitution operation."

thanks..found it....i agree with the comments under the article...Sav has so much more serious crime to worry about spending resources on this.
