from Las Vegas to RDU and am amazed at how low they are - $338.00 for a roundtrip!  It usually costs that much one way!

Gonna be a great Christmas!!!  Bring on the snow!!!

Though I'm still on the fence as to whether I want to meet a gentleman or three while I'm down there.

And to say she's smart and a great conversationalist is an understatment!

It snowed here on Christmas last year for the first time in 46 years.  I was pissed that I missed it because I went to Florida for the holidays.  lol.

NC is hit and miss for snow each winter, unless you're in the mountains.  RDU and Charlotte usually get 1 or 2 "good" (couple of inches) snow falls each year, usually in February.

What I love about it, though, is that the entire states shuts down with the slightest bit of snow - it's an awesome, unexpected day off.

I'm bringing my snow boots with me - I was in the mountains last year for Christmas at my parent's house and couldn't really get out and play since I didn't have any real cold winter gear.  Just watch, I'll be prepared this year and then there won't be any snow which actually will be fine by me - wouldn't want to get stuck up there since I'm paying for a room in the RTP area.

Vegas got snow yesterday (parts of Vegas and just a dusting) and up on Mt. Charleston, they got about 12-16 inches of snow.  So great to look out my window and see the strip with snow filled mountains behind it.
