Yeah, I'll have to agree with the other poster on the personal preference as well as resources/money available. I guess I'm curious about the other side. How do providers determine who they will/won't see? On occasion, I see "Only Caucasian gentlemen" and was wondering is that a just a preference or a possible bad experience in the past with another race etc? Just curious.
The number one thing I look at is whether the lady has a big smile on her face. This is a good indication that i will also wind up smiling following our time together. I know, I know, as a song once said--" a pretty face can hide an evil mind" "Secret Agent Man"))However, if you are now watching "Lie to me" on T.V. you have picked up that our faces reveal a lot about our personality. A "real" smile will look, well, REAL
) Yes, I look next at body style---I like to bounce the little (5' to 5'4) ladies on my, UH, Knee, yeah, knee:P, Reviews round out the top 3 things needed to get me off my behind and on the road to see how much behind-er I can get as the day progresses with my busy schedule.

OOPS: Number 1 rule is I see NO ONE without that face pic. The other parts are nice to look at but the smile has to show thru even on blurred photos. The eyes have to be bright and kind to compliment the smile. Yes, thinking further, names have some input into my picks, but down the line a ways---girly names do make me stop for that initial looksee)
That is what's going to tell me if I should go any farther. Since my playtime is mostly limited to when I travel, and I almost always ask for dinner dates, I need to know that we'll have some common interests. There have been several ladies where we started some electronic flirting on these boards. I also tend to stick mostly to a mature age group. I have seen ladies from their early 20's to mid 50's, and it stands to reason that ladies from their mid 30's and up will have more in common with me. I will, of course, look at her photos, but a woman doesn't have to be a model for me to find her attractive. Eyes are one thing that will make me melt. I have been very fortunate, and spent time with some very beautiful women. Attitude and a nice smile will transform an attractive woman into a raving beauty in my mind.
Rates don't seem to factor in very much. I used to have a maximum rate that I would pay, but if a lady interests me enough, I'm going to find a way to see her.
Lastly, when I send an initial email, if I get a response back, and it's more than a one line, "Call me", that will at least tell me that there is a spark of interest.
I am really surprised by what I am hearing lady and gents. I really do not think I am really all that different than most hobbyists but reading what I have up to know is making me wonder.

All of the answers I have read so far can be found on a ladies website. Now they may not have face pics, may not have rates listed but will say something about that like, "call me to find out rates". Everyone with me so far?

Who is the world is gonna see a woman with a Fantastic smile, reasonable rates, maybe even a great cozy little location if their REVIEWS stink?
In my hobbying experience early on I relied on things like pics, rates, blah blah blah. That lunacy led me to have a couple of experiences that when finished I spent the whole way back to my house regretting what I just wasted money on.
Now the absolute critical factor in any hobbying I do is that performance category here on TER.
Honestly, the most physically gifted woman I have had visit me was the most lame visit ever. She was a personal trainer and a triathlete. I think she might possibly have had a perfect body. It was just absolutely outstanding. My time spent along with the donation would have been better spent watching paint dry.
Bottom line if a gal is not racking up 9's and 10's with an occasional 8 thrown in cause the guy who wrote it is a dummy, why bother?
I do have a hobby friend and he says he wants to see the best looking women. I am only interested in the best time available.
I am not saying I am not interested in looks, I am just saying I go from performance backwards.
Once I made that change in my strategy I have had a string of some of the greatest times ever, at least for me. Have not had one time I regretted since, case closed.
So give me a 10 for performance and a 7 for looks over a 10 for looks and a 7 for performance EVERYTIME!
Plus what good is TER if not being there for us to be able to get that valuable information? We can get most of all the other kind of info from the gals website if they have one.

My No.1 rule is no pimps or shady areas. If it does not look safe it is not safe. If it is a female running the agency and answers the phone thats ok
Well, I have a lot of quirks. But the one relevant to this question is that I will not book a lady who does not have at least one picture on her website of herself smiling. Doesn't have to be a big grin; doesn't have to be a full-tooth smile; just has to be an indication that the lady is capable of enjoying the date.
Probably means nothing, but it's my standard, and a man's gotta have standards!

I cannot call someone when their spelling and grammar are way, way off. One thing here and there is ok....(I can't grade everyone's work here!) but when you post availability and say Mon. THREW Fri. and so on.......
You get the drift. It really does take more than a pretty face! (unless it's a really short stay!)

While I will always sexy, kind and sensual, I am a YMMV kinda girl, and rudeness and cigarette breath are huge turnoffs. I think that looking at and reading a ladies website particularly her blogs will give you the most insight as to what kind of fun you will have

Really good question. First comes the appearance/pics, she must be the right type. Then comes reviews, good reviews first, no reviews next. Poor reviews is a factor for elimination. Then I look for maturity, not always older, but must be mature regardless of age. This is determined from reviews and somewhat from the text in the ad. Next, flexibility. If she has lots of "rules", comes across as rigid and/or "e-mail only" for contact with difficult verification, that all spells trouble ahead. Not as important is price, but it is a factor. Finally, local vs visitor. Visitors tend to keep their appointments because they are focused. IMHO local folks may have some distractions and are more comfortable cancelling, especially last minute.
As well by some of the answers. I always assumed that a woman wishing to protect her identity with blurred photos wouldn't take that big of a hit because she didn't show her face.
I would never show my face on my site. I tend to crop the whole neck up area off of my pics to be honest with you. However, I believe that guys are pleasantly surprised when they open the door. I have yet to have a guy look at me and walk away or be disappointed in my face.
I have had some who really didn't look close enough at how curvy I am and I may have been a little hippier than they would have liked but as for face...I haven't had any complaints yet.

Wow...this has been the most interesting post on this board in quite a while. I would echo what has already been stated. My first criteria is always performance. I am looking for someone with consistently excellent reviews. After that it largely depends on my mood. After all variety is the spice of life!
