I will be traveling to Charlotte in 2 weeks and besides hobbying Id also like to find some night clubs with dancing where 40 and over aged women might hang out.

Any suggestions???

I cant get pms or emails so if you could respond here That would be fantastic!

I am staying at the Ramada Inn near the airport, but I will have wheels so anywhere in the Charlotte area is fine.

Ohares is at the Hotel where I stay but it has been pretty dead there the last few times.

One more thing. When I say dancing I don't mean gentlemens clubs.

If all the sudden I have posted this 3 or more times its because its not showing up on my screen.

I will be staying at the Ramada Inn on Woodlawn where Ohare's is.  That place has been pretty dead the last few times I have been there.

I will have a rental car so I am mobile. So anywhere in the Charlotte area is fine.

Also when I say dancing I mean I would want to dance with a woman and not a strip club.  At 50 I would feel akward watching girls my daughters age dance around.  I find older woman more attractive to me.

Anyway I hope it works this time!

It depends a lot on what area you are staying in, too. If you're staying uptown, you'll probably want to check out the Epicentre. There are some nice bars/lounges/restaurants there. Howl at the Moon is a piano bar there that often has a 35+ crowd. But as far as actual nightclubs, most places cater to the 18/21+ crowd. Suite, followed by Forum and Bar Charlotte are the most popular nightclubs uptown. There are some great restaurants, with a more mature after work crowd at the bar. The Breakfast Club and Sunset Club, both of which are near uptown, are known to often have a more mature crowd.

If you're staying in the Ballentyne area, Villa Antonios is fun, and often has a really good mixed crowd. Also Cosmos Cafe, which is new there. Fox and Hound and Hickory Tavern are fun as well. There is a small martini bar in that area called On The Roxx that I really like.

Southpark has some amazing places as well. Pretty much centered around Southpark Mall. I dont hang out in that area much, so I don't have any specific suggestions.

Look around online, and you can find some good suggestions, I'm sure, as well as from other people. The ones I gave are just from my own experience.

I'm starting to think I spend too much time out and about! Sigh...

Gabby you are always so considerate.  She nailed it.  If you have the option and I would try to stay downtown.  You can walk to alot activites perfect for our age.  I often stay at holiday inn so I cant get in trouble driving.  There are so many options you will have lots of fun.  Very safe too, unlike were you are currently planning to stay.
