Of course there is always the thrill of meeting someone for the first time, kind of like a blind date [well, not that the men don't know, or think they know what the girl looks like - we are of course visual animals ].  But it certainly must be a surprise what the man looks like for the ladies !

Interesting analogy

Always love the anticipation of a first meeting. The uncertainty and the butterflies ya get are part of the rush for me. Have had a mixed result sometimes the first is better than the second or vice versa. Never had a bad second date though. Sometimes the first will always be the best for some reason or another. But if ya do connect a bit the second can be freakin awesome and better than the first. Guess when you both enjoy eachother and she is looking forward to it as much as you are then it builds up on both ends and BANG!! Not sure what to call it but its the best!!

Two Friday shout outs in a row to the same pretty lady. WTF you're making me so jealous ya lucky dog!!!  Sounds like she's a keeper, hope to see for myself real soon.

In my experience about half are better and half are the same or a little less.  
It is rare that the 2nd time is a bad experience.

Plus for the first times: Someone new can be exciting.

For many, it's all about the thrill of the 1st time. They rarely repeat who they see.  I get that, but if I find someone that I click with the first time, I keep seeing them. I have had 10th dates that were mind blowing just because of knowing each others likes and dislikes

I enjoy the thrill of a first date. but I find that the second date  and onward is much better.

If the first one was great, the 2nd one is always better from my point of view.
