Unfortunately BP is a high traffic zone that does bring business, but it is a constant flood. My question is... do the ads with all the hearts, stars, blocks, etc.. actually catch the eye of you gentlemen or appear as a confusing chaotic mess?

Clean and simple shows class but bottom line is no matter what is in the ad or how hot the picks are I will NOT see a girl who isn't well reviewed!  Too many fly by night bad service girls on BP for me to be taking chances on wasting money (TER has made my hobbying so much better)
Don't put symbols put your TER ID.
Also I tend to trust EROS or P411 ads more than BP

Not a hobbyist but I look at BP too depending on where I go before I bother to post there or not (it's much better in some places than others).  Mehhhh yeah it's done to stand out but it starts to get really overwhelming like i'm looking at computer codes lol.  I don't even wanna think of how long it takes to write your ad like that.  

NOTE about Eros though I have seen MANY an eros ad(s) as full of all of those symbols like they pretty much copied from a BP ad and threw it in there.

Not that I ever schedule off of BP.

I look at the pictures first.  Yep, I'm a visual guy.  If the picture doesn't interest me, I dont bother with the text.

Wingdings and things are alright *^@@ Before And After @@^* to set off a main point.

Anything in the middle of a word "mak3s m3 ThInK tHE  GirL (an't sP3LL" and is trying to disguise the fact.  Or it was written by her....  lets say "manager" to be nice.

So, like most other things in life.  A few to highlight are okay but you can have too much (except for sex and money).

I seldom go to BP for anything other than a quick laugh, but I'll give my take on this:

Whenever I see an ad with a bunch of hearts, stars, or what have you, I usually skip it. It does nothing for me and given the sheer volume of people flooding their taglines with symbols, there's not much uniqueness in anything. A well-written line with proper capitalization and correct spelling will catch my eye.

Now I return to my summer hobby hibernation already in progress.

I always used BP over CL as at the time it was  bit cleaner.  Now that CL has been all but eliminated it is getting worse.  The fonts and nonsense is obnoxious, that does not grab my attention it turns me off.  Also, most of the ladies there clearly don't respect themselves (60 rose specials) so uhm eww and no thank you.  If they only think there bodies are worth 60 roses I certainly don't want to know how many men they have to see in a day to pay for there incall location, again eww.  

That being said, I have seen some nice ladies from BP and some misses as well.  Bottom line, they all were reviewed here on TER

I just get a laugh at such nonsense, and go straight for the pics, THEN I read what has been written to see if it is down to earth and a realistic portrayal of a lady's sense of self.
Over the years,I have been disappointed by several TER reviewed ladies, but, so far, my BP pics have been diamonds in the rough, and worth their weight in gold;P~~~  No, No ladies, don't bring a set of scales to the house, expecting to weight yourself and pricing your time by that standard---LOL I do give just because gifts, cards, flowers, tips, spa days, etc., but NOT GOLD by weight) Nope! Not gonna do it) Just know that I value you sharing your time with me in this life)

Amen. Being able to succinctly express yourself with halfway decent grammar and sentence structure (it doesn't have to be perfect) sends a much more positive first impression than all the silly symbols and uppercase / lowercase gymnastics. If anything, the symbols & use of silly typing make my head spin and convey to me that the girl is the least common denominator and not mature enough for my tastes. Ditto with selling services for $60 - no way am I interested in that kind of high-volume provider.  Ditto again for posting 8 and 9 times a day. Once or twice to let people know you're in the area is sufficient.  The secret is to be able to distinguish yourself, and the key thing for me is to have a TER ID. I have noticed that a lot of women with TER reviews don't mention TER but just put their ID number, and I kind of like that. Maybe they're doing it to partially screen callers? Even if you don't list a phone number in the BP post a guy can who knows the significance of the ID can get in touch with you. I'm sure LE knows about TER IDs so it's not going to screen them out, but at least it might minimize the number of calls.

I never use backpage, so I guess my opinion's obvious. There are too many ripoffs, unverifiable ladies, and other reasons to take the chance.

I'm sooooooo glad to hear you guys say this. I thought my ad was the only one on there with NO wingdings and whirly-gigs.

Oh, and my BP ad has no pics either. I think it's the ONLY ad with no pics. I'm not shy about sharing my pics, but I want gents to ASK for them. When they e-mail me to ask for my pics, I can evaluate their communication skills when I do a bit of pre-screening.

Yes, I'm a stickler for good grammar and proper use of punctuation. And I just HATE it when guys let their participles dangle!!
