Images & video of swift water rescues, flooded portions of I-26 & I-77, & general flooding...it seems surreal. I’m deeply saddened for the lives lost & my thoughts and prayers are with the people whom been personally impacted & displaced by this historic rainfall & flooding event.
20 inches where I am at with a whole lot of property devastation both residential and commercial. They just said less than 30 minutes ago on the weather channel that this may go down as the worse flood in United States history.
We are hit and miss today with another 2 to 5 inches. Schools were closed today and are closed for tomorrow as well along with many businesses. They are strongly urging to stay off the streets unless necessary but most people are out there taking pictures...
No damage to my property as I live on top of a nice hill and my back yard slopes down at a pretty good angle. My front yard drains into the street which also is a pretty good angle. It's just so crazy what with all of the folks who did lose their homes and cars etc...
