If a girl offers a discount, such as on P411, should a fellow have any qualms about taking advantage of the offer?

During my first year on P411 and DC, I offered a discount for meetings.  It's a great way for providers to get prescreened clientele to try their services.

However, I never mention it and I always pay the full price. I figure the lady may need it more than I do and like PA said they are trying to stimulate good clients.

I would write the lady in question and just confirm that's your intention...

                I'm a member of P411 and I found your profile there. I would like to see you
               for X hours on X date, could you please confirm that the proper donation would be  
              (regular donation minus discount.)

I have never taken advantage of cut-rate discounts offered by the ladies I've seen.  I look at them as worth their weight in gold) That is, 98% of the ones I've had the absolute pleasure of their company---nothing in this world is without some flaw.
Nope!, not rich, just had the luck to have had a good job that gave me some discretionary spending money) Besides, if you would have seen the cars some drove, you would have done the same thing, even emptied your pockets of extra change to help the lil things out.  
When I win the BIG lotto, I'm gonna set up an endowment for each of the ladies who treat me like a valued BF) You can't take the dirty stuff(dollars) with you, soooooo, why not spread it around where it will help some deserving souls out while they are still in their cute lil nekked bods;P~~~

If we take all the "personal" aspects out of this....

Consider this...

Most of the time, when a lady is booking a new client, screening becomes the major #1 time-killer before setting up any appointment. Now this can end up being a lot of emailing (as some Gents are noobish, or hard headed with following instructions, and some ladies not very apt at instructing in clear concise format... A lot of issues can spring up here, not having good "customer service skills"--- a lot of factors can go in error here, that add a considerable amount of time just trying to "get screening done") and it ends up being... very time consuming. Not to mention, as a provider, we like to check out who (the lady) is , if she is actually a provider, so basically a guy with 2 provider references, ends up being having to screen not only him, but the other two ladies as well.... And.... A big headache, sometimes.

Now we have a few handy platforms for screening, such as P411 and Date-Check, these are a couple of very valuable resources for providers, making "okays & referrals" as handy as a link away, and all the ladies who may be contacted as easy as a click away.... Without all the triple (or more) emailing.... However, this is a cost that directly is applied to clients for using said services.  
Some ladies do try to be considerate of this cost, and offer a discount (incentive) to use said services- to help off-set the overall costs. At least that is the way I see it, from a business standpoint.

I know I would prefer to give a discount "IF" I see that a client has a p411/date-check versus him being a noob with no references or even him simply saying "I have a couple of references" and then not sending them, starts up the big hairy process... Which, again, very time consuming.... A big pain in the a**....  
So yeah, when I see a guy email,
"Hey I would like to book a XXhr appointment, this is my p411 ID, and what will the rate be (with discount?)"
Is a WHOLE LOT MORE WELCOME than the above mentioned!

I hope this makes sense. The screening websites are there (and quite successful!) because they make this a whole lot more streamlined & less of a pain, for screening, at least for us ladies.

And just as an FYI, yes, I too, drive a crappy ass vehicle, with a cracked windshield (note to self, need to get fixed...)
however, I don't do "high volume" so what funds I do get, I am diligent with.
I would rather do like I have been doing.... I take care of my family, my kid wants for nothing...
Example: the 4th of July- When in my suburb, NONE of the kids in the neighborhood had any firecrackers (WTF?!)  well...  I could have used that money on something more frivolous, or even on the hooptie... but I chose to MAKE SURE that my kid & all the little "buddies" knew they could come to my house and have one heck of an unforgettable Independence Day! (And DID!)
I know that it was (that day) literally "burning" my money- however, seeing kids that normally "do without" having their hearts desires, and having a BALL... and the lesson of generosity & sharing for my kid....  well... PRICELESS.

I could write a list of things that I "do"..... spending on this versus THAT.... and I know that I try to follow my conscience... a lot of people around me are doing a whole lot worse than I am, and I too prefer to do what I think to be "the best thing." Hey, I even got an award at my kids school this year for all the time & funds I spent (hey, thanks to providing I have THAT TIME, and the FUNDS) but never expected an award, never. I did what I thought a "good mom" should do.

 
I too have my "lotto fantasy" where everyone I know would be blessed! It would be nice to be able to do such a thing... And I am glad to read another post of another person's generous spirit.
It tells a lot about a person.

a well reviewed gal actually lowered her rates by a small amount.  

Since I had been seeing her for awhile at her "original" rate, there was no way I was about to give her less.

Time is money and if my 411 or DC membership save her time screening me why not share the wealth. I only turned down one discount because I thought it was too much. Rather than argue about it I just tipped it back to her.

That a reasonable discount could be looked at negitivly. I offer a few different discounts, usually no more then 25-50. Some are because your doing something in exchange that saves me time and agrivation, it makes perfect sence to me that if your going to do something to benifit me I can do something to benifit you. Others are because I appreciate people spending their hard earned money on me. I'm grateful for everyone that sees me and I want people to know that.  

I also will not ask things of other people and not hold myself to the same standards. I have policies about last min cancelations, appointments cut short etc. I extend the same courtesy if something happens on my end. Heck, I've had situations where things were completely out of my control, like acts of nature, but I still feel the need to show people I'm considerate of their time and money. I had one time where things went very wrong despite my best efforts, I offered the gentleman a small discount but then found out it had put him out a lot more then I initially knew and offered a bigger discount more in line with the inconvenience it caused him. Even though it was not my fault his time is no less valuable then mine and I feel like it's the rite thing to do. The appointment was rescheduled and he didn't take the discount but I'm guessing if I had handed things differently the appointment never would have been rescheduled. There are people that know about my discounts and don't take them and others that would see me with out without the discount but just because I can get more doesn't mean I have to.
I see girls saying they are booking 2 weeks out and at the same time lowering their rates or offering big discounts, something is wrong there.  Discounts in proportion with the reason are just about being fair or a good person.

.... it shouldn't ever be held against you.

I am very new to the hobby, only having seen three providers spread over the past 10 years...

the service that these ladies provide is invaluable.  Why in the world would you want to discount the time they afford us.  
The ladies that treat us like kings and make us feel  like a million bucks are worth their weight in gold.  
They are giving us something that we need as men.  They are therapists, lovers, mistresses, whatever we need of them.

You fine ladies make the world go round and for that i thank you
