I came here looking for any legal knowledge about what happened to the TBD.  I hope that TER and others don't fall due to what happened there.  
I hope that us providers are not at risk for having been part of the internet message boards.

Welcome! You'll find a whole lot of discussion, from the past few days, concerning TBD. There are many lawyers and other knowledgeable people participating. You may have noticed the Legal Corner discussion board from the main Discussion Boards page. Everything concerning TBD is speculation, of course. Not even the Florida DA's or TBD's lawyers, nor TBD himself knows the whole story at this point.

There is a consensus, however that TER is very different from TBD, and much more secure against the harassment of LE. You can rest assured that with these events, TER is making efforts to ensure even greater safety.

I don’t believe any of us need to worry about having participated on any message board. There is nothing illegal about it. LE is not going to take the time to  identify and track down anyone from the boards. If they wanted an arrest or a conviction, they would have to then catch that person in an illegal act, within the city and state of their jurisdiction. With participants spread throughout the country and the world, LE will not be spending any resources toward an effort like that.
