As long as my son(others sons/daughters) wears the uniform..

and risk their lives during numerous deployments to keep this from happening again, I will continue counting the gray hairs that keep coming over the worry for their safety. Equally, those Fire Fighters/LE on the home front, who wear uniforms essentially serving the same purpose(note I included LE, who serve the SAME purpose, deserve the same respect.) I have quietly sat on my front porch for a bit this a.m. in remembrance of those who died horribly on this day 15 years ago( This coming week, I will appreciate my freedom by enjoying the company of a beautiful lil lady, who has the same freedom to live her life without fear of being stoned, or honor killed for the way she enjoys life)  (..........Tears for those lost.
