I think the "key" ingredient is not whether you forward a PM, but instead whether the message content contains any identifiable information.  Passing identifiable info by any means is a clear no no and if found guilty, there isn't much sympathy for such a serious violation.

Why would anyone forward a PM???  I never thought about that.  If the PM was threatening then maybe forward it to mod. I think it would be wrong.

I do not have VIP status at the moment so I can't even read who is writing me let alone forward the info!!!!!!  LOL

I do not recall a forward tab in the TER mailbox last time I was able to get in.

I am with you Roadshow not sure what a person would be doing forwarding a pm?

Since a lady is fowarding your pm's out to providers that stuck up for a certain member of our baord today...just saying. Take it for what its worth. Apparently nothing is private

Now that would piss me off. And I might have an opinion  one day, depending on things going on.  And something happen to totally change my opinion and it no longer be true.

Activities outside of the hobby are keeping me busy and my hobby activities are more hands on than posts and pms. Gots to do some hiking and biking and walking, family times, basketball, football, mistletoe, and ho ho ho!!
I do hope that if someone is threatening members through pms or passing private info through pms that they be reported to admin.
