Flying me in for an interview next week. Job's mine unless I eff it up. Any insight as where to live in the area? Looking for a studio or 1 bedroom apartment. Not familiar with the area at all and any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks!

Welcome to N.C. sweetie! Hope you get the job, as far as apartments go if I were you I would stay at an extended stay type hotel for the first month or two so you can get a better feel of the area and nicer places to stay. You may end up even liking Greensboro or Winston for a place to call home which High Point is right in the middle of both. Shoot me a PM and give me an idea of budget etc... and I'll try to help best I can since I know these areas fairly well.

Hey There!

First of all - good luck with the job.

High Point has some strange boundary lines and can easily be confused as they run into Greensboro, Jamestown or Thomasville.

I moved to Greensboro 20 years from England and found it more to my liking in terms of restaurants and entertainment.

You can email me and I can always give you my 2 cents.

Excellent suggestion. If you decide to investigate that route, you may find it fruitful to search for rental homes under the category of property management.
