I am exhausted after spending the night at the hospital with my daughter who is very ill. So..sorry I couldn't return emails and pms. Now I'm going to catch up with my granddaughter and try to refresh for round two. If you are the praying kind please put us on your prayer list.

You and your daughter are in my thoughts and prayers Carolina. I've been doing some of that hospital visiting myself. My Mom is going through some serious issues. My heart goes out to you hon.

Just remember you have friends that care . I will remember you in my prayers.

You take care and try and get some rest----hospitals are very exhausting both for patient and loved one(  Children, no matter their age, when ill, just rips the heart out of parents(,,,,

It's hard to explain how life unfolds. I believe that I was meant to take this trip to visit my daughter and be with her in her time of need....I am very thankful that I was able to be at her side when she was in so much pain.  Finally after 2 days of testing, we had a diagnosis and the treatment began and she came home today.
The shock to me was that we were running around for my first few days together and then the next thing I knew she was being rushed to the hospital.
I know many of us have been in hospital waiting rooms, waiting, test after test...... the unknown is very frightening. It's not something we ever want to have to go through, and I have been fortunate enough to not have to experience it with any of my children until this last week.
No matter how old our children are, they are our babies. We never want them to feel any pain.  I kinda felt alone in my pain when it all came down on me and that is why I posted. And all of your kind words and prayers gave me hope and for that I thank you all.
