I haven’t been playing close enough attention lately. :(

MY FAULT!!!

(I am posting this on all the regional boards that I moderate. The situations below may not apply to this board.)

People have been crossing the line between hobby related v. ad posts. Effective immediately, I will not allow the following post to be submitted as a new thread. Feel free to post them as a reply to your weekly ad posts

Provider sponsored parties (There used to be one or two posts like this a year. Now they are coming almost monthly.)

Off-topic posts that sneak in schedule info. (I freely admit that I don’t read many posts from unmoderated posters. If you slip in schedule information at the end of an off-topic post, I might miss it but your competitors won’t. This pisses me off because you know better!)

Contests, promotions or discounts (They are clever marketing tools but they are still designed to increase business which makes them ad posts.)

Here’s a few other “unwritten” posting rules which apply to all TER Discussion Boards.

When a provider/agency is delisted from TER (voluntarily or otherwise) moderators cannot accept posts from or about them.

Bartering related posts aren’t allowed on TER.

If you reply to another provider’s/agencies’s thread, DO NOT include your link. That’s just not fair. It’s their thread.

Here is the link to TER Provider Posting Guidelines for your edification.

it's probably because you're not complying with TER's Provider Posting Guidelines. It's your responsibility to check back on the board to see if your post was approved. I will not contact you to tell you why your post wasn't approved but feel free to contact me if the reason is still unclear after you read the Provider Posting Guidelines.

Thanks for understanding.

You cannot link your post to

1. an ad on providerpost.com.
2. an ad on escorts.com.
3. a post on craig's list.

You can include a Yahoo group link in the body of your post as long as you include a link to your approved website or to your TER reviews in the Link URL section of your post.

Please use good judgement when linking a picture to your ad post. What's the line? I don't know what pornography is but I know it when I see it!

Providers are required to include their link in schedule/ad posts. You have three options as to links that you might use.

1. You can link to your own website. If you link to your website, your website must be included in TER's Site Reviews section and must include the TER logo reciprocal link on the first page.

2. You can link to your escort mall ad. YOU CANNOT LINK TO AN ESCORT MALL THAT ALLOWS REVIEWS ON THEIR SITE!

3. You can link to your TER reviews. Feel free to ask me if you don't know how to do this.)

Linking your ad to a Yahoo Group or a Craig's List post is NOT ALLOWED! You can include a Yahoo group link in the body of your message but you must also include one of the link types mentioned above in the Link URL section of your post.

You are not required to add your link to any post other than your weekly schedule/ad. However (you may have noticed that I'm trying to make this point ;) you are missing a golden opportunity to send people to your link if you forget to include it.
Don't forget, TER encourages you to include your link. Even if it only brings you one more appointment a month, WHY WOULDN'T YOU???

* PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE YOUR LINK WHEN REPLYING TO OTHER PROVIDER'S ADS.
