I was having dinner with a few provider friends whom are the high end ladies, like most of you.  They were complaining the biz has changed significantly over the past year.  Many regs have become undependable, new biz is more difficult, the number of BS inquires asking for bargains and risky services have dramatically increased, and the onslot of the BP cheap low end women have ruined the biz.  This in addition to the increased LE activity due to the upcoming DNC. The concensus is that it is becoming not worth the effort. Is everyone having the same issues?

I've had slower business, but more because of laying low and not advertising as much. I've been working on a lot of changes, including personal training/new diet, and am working on changes to my business that I hope to implement soon. As well as start touring again. So I'm pretty confident I'll keep busy at that point.

But I'm curious about the DNC too. I'm sure LE activity will pick up here in the Charlotte area. But I've probably pissed off more people than not because I turned them away after not feeling comfortable concerning screening, so if everyone would put their safety first and keep up their screening they should be fine. I for one rather skip paying the light bill on time than wearing handcuffs that I didn't ask for myself! I've never had any close calls or problems with LE in the 4 yrs I've worked in Charlotte, but this upcoming event is of course a lot different. But I fully plan on taking full advantage of potential business it can bring me, and will screen hard like I always have.

But as far as business goes, I've always treated what I do as my job, and approached it as I would any other small business I own, and manage my finances accordingly. I live below my means, I save, and I keep track of every penny I spend. I also be very careful of my expenses related my business. So far I've gotten through the recession just fine.

I started 3 yrs ago and I honestly have never been this slow. Everything you listed (undependable regs, new biz, etc) applies to me, too. I've had to slow wayyy down on my  touring because its just not worth the cost (hotels, gas, etc). Its hard out there right now. Hopefully, this too shall pass.

What is DNC, exactly?  I've noticed the increase in assorted ladies on BP. However, the thing you got to keep in mind. Is all the LE is focusing on those. . . well lets call them what they are in general. Harlots of Charlotte if you will. Because of their shady business practices. A great many of the numbers you seem for them are out of Atlanta/DC. That is simply because LE locally is nailing them left and right.

I'm not talking about any of the regular ladies on this board by any means. However, there ladies that occasional appear on here. From other cities across this country. That are not of the highest moral caliber. Even though have good reviews. When you see them its like they are punching a clock and having to go through the motions. Which as a hobbyist. Wastes not only my time but my resources. That I could be spending on a local provider.

Amongst us boys as it were. It is often said and discussed.  Is getting the best. .  . excuse the pun. Bang for your buck. Who truly is able to sell that fantasy we are looking to purchase. There are still others that believe. That if you are going to make a standard donation say in the 300 range. You should always get a second cup.  That there should be a higher physical standard. If your gonna pay more. You should get more. Be it above average beauty or services.  That isn't the rule however. Its more the exception then anything else that I have seen.

Even I don't always post every review that I have occasion to do so. Simply because of a negative experience or out of embarrassment. Getting ripped off or foolishly thinking with my smaller . . although well endowed head!  The strongest deterrent to having extra cash to spend on this hobby. Is this economy right not.  Not everyone has money to burn. If they do it isn't for long. Besides, with the holidays coming up. Its only gonna get worse to extent or another.

Isn't DNC still a year away? Far as the Biz, unfortunately it is only going to get slower as we go through the consolidation process....only the strong will survive....

alike.  With good cause I believe.  There are numerous reasons in my opinion.  The economy is the big one.  Less discretionary cash to spend on such pursuits and coupled with the higher donations required makes for much less play.  And I am not suggesting or telling you what donation you should charge.  That is completely your business.  I do know that in unusual economic times almost all business watch prices, offer deals, have sales, etc. to spur customer interest.  Why do any of you think it would ultimately be any different for you, especially, given that the money spent is discretionary?  I have stopped seeing many ladies because they increased their donations.  Doesn't mean I don't like them. It just means given the multiple alternatives that I will no longer choose to see them.  And there are many alternatives like rebuilding my savings, investments, other hobbies, less expensive providers, and yes...even online porn.

It was noted in another post that if you are charging more then people should expect more.  I believe that is very true.  Higher prices for the same (in some cases..lackluster) experience makes me never go back.  If you have a regular base of loyal customers do they deserve to be treated better? Do they deserve to get best pricing? Do the deserve some type of customer loyalty incentive?  I don't know just asking!  If I was marketing myself I would seriously consider these things.  And another question, why is it that when you offer two girl meetings the rate is more than twice your normal rate or more than your normal rate and your friends combined?  I really do not understand that.

I also have become very disgusted ( for lack of a better word) at the  boards.  Same old BS by the same old people.  Most of it trite, meaningless, tediously dull and downright stupid .   I think providers would be wise to be involved but be pertinent and germane to what is being discussed or going on.  Do things like contribute to conversations meaningfully AND change your web page frequently, add some new pics.  I don't know of a single hobbyists that does not enjoy seeing new photos of the lovely ladies on these boards and not the same old and I do mean old ones that you have been using for years.

The bottom line is that the hobby is completely discretionary.  It is expensive and at least for me lately has gotten quite boring and much less fun.  I don't enjoy donating my hard earned money for mediocre service.  Yes there are better "deals" out there and to be quite honest some are actually much better than anticipated.  But given the economy, the costs, lackluster service, other options and alternatives then you can expect things to remain depressed for quite some time.  Add all that to public issues (which in Charlotte, where the DNC is preparing and you can bet they are "cleaning up" their act..*hint*) then it will get more fragile and tougher as things more forward.  Just my opinion.

I am not sure "sales" are always a good idea.  I am a firm believer of you get what you pay for.  If a lady is offering top notch companionship and has a sale will her performance suffer???  That usually concerns me.  

As far as BP goes those ladies are not selling companionship.  That is more 'Slam Bam And Thank you maam".  Ok I know some classy ladies do advertize there but not offering the 60 buck special.  Personally I would rather spend my money on one great woman that 4 soso providers.

The girls that tour into the Carolinas , I aint always very sure about.  Not saying they may not be any good just usually check them out to see if they visit often. They may not worry about repeat business.  I tend to shy away from them.

There is a lot of talent just in the super class of ladies we have frequenting this board.  Some are touring, some are local.  

As for me once that damn Stock Market gets some traction I will be better funded. IMHO That appears it will be 2013 before we get that back in shape.

Having gone through the RNC in Mn, you can bet your bottom dollar le activity will get & be intense around Charlotte. They take their preparations for the conventions VERY SERIOUSLY! Think about it their will be millions of eyes on Charlotte & the powers that be care a great deal on their appearance.  Low-lying fruit will be targeted & snatched. It always starts out a year out, in the next 6-9 months it will simply intensify.  Charlotte is already sending out notices to small businesses under the guise of violations- another form of clean-up for the DNC

As far as undependable regs, new biz & bargain-shoppers that would fall under the economic issues. How you treat your regs is crucial in this day in time.  If your regs are becoming unreliable maybe you should look at how you are handling your business. Be creative

Wise business owners pay attention to many factors.  If your business is not doing well, look at things that would make it better for you. For me, maintaining a small circle of like minded men is easier than hotel hopping at this point. By making a few changes, I have avoided hotel expenses & have had many wonderful days on the lake I have found it easier to focus & achieve my goals by adjusting how I play & with who.

I guess it all goes to what you need or want to make yourself happy as well as the type of experience you are seeking.  

Just the thought of that put MY economy in an upswing!

Ok I am not trying to be rude, im going to give my opinion what needs to change to increase production..  the fees the women charge in Raleigh is a little high for the quality,   ,there are very few that Look good for *** , you can be in miami or nyc for ***~***** and they are smoking hot .  Why is someone going to pay the same price in major cities for beautiful women, as in raleigh for outdated products? . A little advice Go to the hair salon ,tanning beds , spray tan, get a good photographer, and maintain yourself and  the clients will come. I like to see updated photos every 6 months, the ladies have pics from as far back as 2002.. You need to spend *** to make **********
The men are out there and looking but nothing catches their eyes.
I have talked with a few ladies that have toured here from  other cities and they all say the men are totally cheap here in Raleigh , so men please tip And spend a few hours so they come back to visit..
Also if you are trying to get business men as clients , try to hold off on getting tattoos until you retire from this profession.
If you have tattoos do not do touch ups that  dont show any, you got them because you like them so show them. So we are not surprised when the clothes come off.. Tattoos are fine if they are tasteful!!

Same reason we hide our faces... both would be EXTREMELY recognizable, should the wrong person see it. Whether that be someone in my personal life, or the front desk clerk checking me into my room and scanning the touring escort ads printed up and sitting behind the desk. I have yet to have anyone be offended that I have tattoos once we got nekkid. A little surprised maybe, but usually once we get going they forget I even have tattoos.

I have seen some of the big cities prices and they are a bit higher than our Carolina girls.  Usually way out of my range being  a simple country boy.   You certainly have a right to your opinion though  but  Charlotte and Raliegh are not NYC and Maimi. And smoking hot is all in perception of the viewer. I am more into the Soccer Mom,  MILF,  girl next door.  

Out dated products is a bit on the rude side.  Some of us southern boys likes whats going on between the ears as much as everything else.  I am sure our tastes are quite different and that is a good thing.  If all of our tastes  were all the same then there would be one lady.  
I have yet to meet a lady here whose hair wasnt perfection and as for spray tans ---- not in this mans world.  

As for pics.  Ok I like new pics but if the pictures represent the lady at the door then do they have to go hire a photographer every six months.

Then there are the tats.  Are you saying that there or no business men that dont like that bad girl look?  

We appear to have the whole spectrum of ladies here in the Carolinas except for maybe Air Headed super models with spray on tans.  That we dont have.

FANTASTIC! I can't complain. I, too, have been hearing from SOME ladies that business is slow. However, I'm friends with a lot of providers that are still doing very well and making more money than they ever have providing. At the end of the day, this is an individualized business. It can be going to shits for one girl and superb for another. It depends on the lady's looks, BCD services and customer service skills . Have a great day everyone!

And....yes it's slow..but if you get out there...up your performance..go where you are wanted...and give the men what they want...it's not so bad. i REALLY enjoy this business...and it shows. Yes I may have to travel more to make ends meet...but it's FUN!! :0)

The economy is a huge factor. The way I see it, why would I pay $50 or $100 more for someone who is more interested in their phone and wants to rush things along? Then again, on the flip-side, do I want to consider someone who has reduced their rates and has specials? It's a challenge.
Then when you see some providers raising their rates in this economy, it makes it even tougher.

I will say though, the three providers on these boards I have talked to were helpful and seemed nice. Maybe I can meet them someday

The DNC will be a boom for business for the ladies. What do you think Lobbyist in DC spend their money on for their clients? I would think the TER advertising board in CLT will be very busy the few weeks before as guys will be making plans before the arrive in CLT. Dallas had the Super Bowl last year. Do you think woman from all over the country flocked into big D for the week? You bet they did.

To many girls on drugs advertising on BP for Penny's on a dollar....lmao  Well Asheville anyways!
