Anybody have 411 on sting in gville SC?? po po set up at hotel on 85 and Pelham, arrested 15???

I have no info other than a google search, but I found the names of 15 men on the jail report.

I'd be curious to know more info too.

At first, I found information on 48 made in June, including the pastor of a church. Yikes! I bet he had some explaining to do. I had to narrow the timeline on my search to find the latest that only netted 15.

I think it's funny that the local TV station posts the mugshots and then says, "He is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law." Even if they are found innocent, with their names plastered on the internet associated with this sting, they will never be free of it.

It you think that is bad.. wait till you see what happens and I am sure it has started right here in Charlotte, NC in an effort to clean up the city before the DNC........

Just another reason to see people you already know and trust, it seems to me...  this sort of thing makes one realize the risks they take....

Jessica, I don't know if you are correct or not, but I suspect they are walking a fine line. I would think the city would not want a lot of that sort of publicity right before the convention, and they would be way more concerned about stuff that is going to show up on CNN (demonstrations, violent crime in center city, etc) .

I would think what goes on between consenting adults would be the least of their problems...but you may be right.

I do think that the ladies mught want to be careful that week, especially sweet local ones, to not get caught up oin something..

Also, I remember reading on another forum that a bust a month or so ago in Greenville had BP ad of a pretty blonde and a 404 AC.  I think that BP ad is either a sting or trouble.

You've been around long enough to know that you can't put everyone in the same bucket.  Not everyone from area code 404 is  LE or a plant.  I mean it's feasible that she drove up from Atlanta for a quick tour.  And you know enough to check her pictures with Google Images or TinEye.  So, guess that means you're not gonna TOFFT either?

Greenville's getting a nasty reputation as far as the hobby goes.  Moving right up there alongside Myrtle Beach.  

Guess they don't want the 'tourists' from the DNC to have problems getting appointments so they are cleaning out the local clients before things get crowded?
