Looks like there is some interest in doing a Meet & Greet in Charlotte.  In terms of locations to meet, does anyone have VIP Skyclub membership at the Men's Club?  If yes, please let me know.

As someone who has organized and hosted very classy and well received and attended M&G's in Fla. I obviously have a completely different view of what a M&G should and shouldn't be.

Find a club that has civilians, that way you dont have to worry about LE. If they have an upstairs, aks if you can use the upstairs for a 3 hour party.

I've never been to one. What is your idea of how they should go? I'm just glad someone is taking the initiative to organize one.

I'm not sure that would be the best place to have one. JMHO.

Hey Bobb3950, in my defense, I mentioned MC because an earlier post mentioned the paper doll and that is pretty run down now.  I would like to hear your suggestions on what worked and didn't work.

I would think any decent downtown hotel. Rent a meeting room, have some refreshments and maybe a cash bar to serve beer and wine.. I've never been to one but you may consider charging a small admission. Maybe someone else can shed more light on this.

In NNJ where I'm from the M&G are usually held in a private room of a cocktail bar or restaurant. Charging a modest fee to those invited will cover any cost associated with renting a room (and usually, depending upon the crowd, will cover the rental of the next event) Everyone I've ever been to has been VERY beneficial to both hobbyists and providers.
