I do concur this board isn't as lively and fun as FL. Thankfully, it's not drama-packed either. As of late, there's been more movement around here; perhaps the most I've seen in almost two years. I can only hope one day we'll be able to make it fun and lively...as it should be!

Okay..maybe not that lively!! I agree that lately the board has been more active..I'm happy to see that. I plan on retiring next year but I promise I will do my part to contribute in a positive way.
I have to agree I like this board the most since it is drama free! Professional men come here to find what they are looking for like professional providers and honest reviews. Almost every client who calls my company say they check out TER vs. the other boards. They say that they aren't interested in all that he said/she said crazy mess they find other places. One guy said that he was tired of having to sort through all the other mess on other boards to find good post by providers and clients! I think that this board my slowly but surely become more of a hot spot especially if we all refer our clients in this direction, that's what I do!
This board is not fun and lively. It's more of a place for ladies to post "ads" and guys to ask a few questions. And of course everytime some lady gets busted you'll certainly see that on this board.
But FUN? Not really. I've said it before and I'll say it again...if you want to see what a fun board looks like go to the Florda Board. Take a real good look at it. Please note that their moderator actually has FUN on the board interacting with other members! He encourages them to post and have fun...and they do. There is no drama. No one gets singled out and yelled at on the board. Not because, from time to time someone doesn't break some rule of posting, but because its handled off the board in PMs as it should be.
Their Mod actually goes in if he sees a ladies post dosen't comply and fixes it!!! Will wonders never cease? And you can click on the rules of the board right from the discussion board...a VERY nice touch so newcomers and everyone else doesn't have to do a seperate seach on TER. it's all right there to make it easy.
The Florida Board, and others have fun on a daily basis. People can actually have more than one thread IF it's not a repeat ad post. People on the Carolinas Board have gotten yelled at and moderated for posting more than one thread in a week, even if it's an unrelated subject and there is no link to a website, while others have posted ads 2-3 times in a 10 day period and nothing happens.
If this board is going to be a fun, lively board, then "everyone" is going to have to lighten up and be nicer and more friendly.
And as far as my clients go...the ones coming here for business usually do a search for reviews. Only a few look at the board. I've met a few VERY nice men from this board, so I continue to post here. Most are local Carolina men though, not the out of state guys.
So maybe we can have a fun board too one day. Maybe I'll be unmoderated this week since our moderator Dingus posted that for the holidays he would unmoderate those who had the gold badge to their website and I'm still moderated...Nice pic on your Holiday post,BTW Dingus lol!
I think you are still sulking from when you were moderated on this board.
Here is what I know.
FIRST of all the moderators are volunteers. They actually might work in other professions. They sometimes moderate more than one board. Every moderator has his or her own style.
SECOND of all.....I don't think you were singled out and yelled at. Think about your posting mistakes and learn from them. You also have written some strong words if I remember correctly. So you have a chip on your shoulder still....I think you would need to lose that in order to participate in a fun way. Even I, the Legendary Sexy Carolina has been moderated. How was it resolved..thru back channel and respect for one another. If I could sprinkle a secret potion over the world...it would contain respect and kindness. Two things that many of us need more of.
