While this of course has been asked many times and many ways on the boards, I think it is always a legit question and from time to time should be brought up especiially from a lady that is new to this and for clients as well.
As you know Miriam in Charlotte is new to us and she has received some great feedback already, but just starting out and still learning she has quite a few questions and I told her about the boards and she is looking. The reality is this, at the end of the day, if she really wants to be the best provider possible it will show. If she tries to fake it, or tries to do too much, it might backfire or seem mechanical, which I think is something we all dislike.
The thing for her to remember is that we are both human beings with our own desires, fantasies and so forth, and indulging those is what this is really about. If she can manage to enjoy herself, or find the enjoyment in making her customer happy, she'll do great.
The only other thing I might mention is not being a clock watcher, as I think that is one thing that will annoy any regular hobbyist.
