of the canine variety is completely dead.  People are just not into board chit chat, etc.

Twitter has become the hotspot now. It is faster, more open and "real" as much as that can happen in this world, and much easier to block out the negative that all too often comes to the boards. I have been in this hustle a long time, 17 years, and have found that Twitter is a very unique platform for the providers and clients alike. There are plusses and minuses to it, as with most things in life, but it is definitely where the "action" is now.

But my trips keep getting cancelled.  Storms, budget, clients, keep getting in the way.  We’ll get there, sooner or later.

The chat, discussions on some boards, in some places, is very active.  I'd agree that twitter is picking up the slack in areas that are a bit more challenging to connect in, especially looking for more pleasantries vs trolls.  I'd expect that platform to continue to have a strong hold in this part of the country.

It def has been pretty quiet. I have some providers I follow on Twitter. Instagram or Snapchat. Some I have seen some I haven't. I enjoy the updates an photos. Feel more interaction. I understand some providers don't want to do social media.

I am really torn about Twitter. I have heard other providers extolling the benefits of Twitter, but I can't help but feel it puts me "out there" in ways beyond forums like this one. Perhaps it's an irrational fear given the realities of having a website and having had my other ads scraped by various places.

Most are private and only approve a small amount it seems. A majority of post are their travel plans or a weekly picture. The rest is just normal talk. Some you would never know they are a provider. Usually the private pages are the obvious once approved. I have had great convos with some. Not even hobby related. But to each their own. Facebook is kinda weird for a page IMO. But one i made appointment with added me on snapchat once I was verified and booked. Sent me a couple fun pics/videos. It was a nice addition.

The interaction is so much more fluid and instantaneous on there and it's becoming an increasingly great way to meet people.  I have seen some regular posters on this board switch over to Twitter.

Twitter seems to really be taking off - can post as many pictures a day as you want - can screen who sees your tweets (protected) and with DM can have private conversations. Plus some ladies are just tired of this site it appears, and that is not unusual if you ever go onto the general board.

I add pictures and videos I would not normally put on here because my profile is private.  @kinkykerrifun
Feel free to add me. I'm also on snap chat under the same name.

Since we travel quite a bit, Twitter has been a good way to meet people around the country. Just like TER is.

In fact, we are planning to come to ATL and the Carolinas in January because of our Twitter and TER connections.

Other boards seem to be more regionalized and hit-or-miss.

It can be a challenge. Twitter has been fun.

Just curious, what are people searching on Twitter to see providers?

I guess I’m not a cool kid, I prefer a board such as this one. It seems more private and secure. Just my opinion though.

It's okay, I'm not a cool kid either.  I've never gotten into Twitter but seeing all of these posts has made me rethink it.
