I'm making my first trip to N. Carolina in years, next week. Trying to decide where my time would be better spent. Charlotte is certainly a little closer to me, but how much farther of a drive is Raleigh? Two hours? Where is all the action?
Love to hear from those interested in spending some time together, and advice in general. Looking forward to seeing you even more...
Wherever you decide, those folks will be mighty lucky! Yowza
Raleigh is about 2.5 hours from Charlotte, (a little less if you drive like I do) and in my opinion a slightly better destination. Really though, you should make it a true road trip. Hit Charlotte for a couple of days, then hit G'boro for a day or two. Then make your way over to the Raleigh/Durham area for a few days. You really can't cum to Carolina without hitting the big three, and if gas weren't so damn expensive I'd tell you to hit the mountains and the coast as well. Which reminds me, if you see a well-dressed guy carrying a set of snowskis and boots who's run out of gas along the side of the highway outside of Chapel Hill/Durham please pick me, er I mean, him up! Make him "earn" his ride! LOL!!!
Without laying out all of the details on the board, I've decided to split my time between Charlotte and Raleigh. I will be arriving next week, so if you're interested in spending some time together, email me soon, and I'll fill you in on whatever details you need. Looking forward to seeing you next week...
